Nature's Best set out to create a product that didn't hide anything from its customers. We wanted you to know that you're purchasing the best product available on the market. Our protein source is clearly identified as 100% Pure Whey Protein Isolate. We didn't try to confuse you by listing a protein blend that doesn't tell you how much of the product is superior whey protein isolate and how much is whey protein concentrate or sweet whey or some other inferior protein source. It is instantized so it can be taken anywhere and be easily mixed with a spoon.

In addition, Isopure is rich in branched chain amino acids and glutamine.

Each Serving of Isopure Contains:

  • 1404mg of Isoleucine
  • 3094mg of Leucine
  • 1430mg of Valine
  • 2.57g of L-Glutamine

Athletes tend to need more protein than sedentary individuals to achieve positive nitrogen balance. Most recommendations range from 1.5-2.0 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day.

AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about this product. Knowing what I know about the toxicity of sugar and high fructose corn syrup, obviously those are out. But, everything that is "low carb" and/or "sugar free" sadly seems to have either Sucralose (negatively impacts gut microbiome) or Acesulfame Potassium (CAUSES cravings and addictions to sweet tastes in the brain)... or both are added, most of the time. I want to be "pure" and as simple as possible with all natural ingredients wherever possible and without antibiotics (again, hurts gut microbiome, literally killing good gut bacteria) or pesticides. This is the *BEST* protein isolate powder I've found and I now swear by it. I simply make my own protein bars and shakes now, using this along with Stevia, Monkfruit extract, and/or USDA ORGANIC Erythritol as the sweeteners. All 3 show signs of being neutral/healthy for gut bacteria while causing little to no blood sugar or insulin reactions/changes. They just "taste sweet" and pass through harmlessly :) This powder *DOES* use the "ion-exchange filtration" method for a large part of the whey isolate... and yes, that *DOES* pass through HCL (Hydrochloric Acid) as part of the overall filtration process. Having said that... this powder does *NOT* have the slight chlorine aftertaste that their Apple Melon flavored, zero carb Isopure drinks have to them. The filtration process *MAY* add a bit of chlorine to the end product. But... don't look now... salt actually has a bit of chlorine in it as well :) Point being, this product is stellar. Zero flaws and *PERFECT* if you want to avoid the next public health crisis (ruined gut microbiome due to over use of artificial, zero-calorie sweeteners like Sucralose). Hope this review helps expand products as pure and simple as this one!

I have been so eager to try this ever since I ordered it. It finally arrived yesterday and I was Not dissapointed! The possibilities are endless with unflavored proteins. I get to decide what goes in and how much. It can be used in sweet AND savory dishes. If you're planning on stirring this product with a spoon, you're going to end up with clumps. Best prepared with a shaker or blender. As for the taste, it is as stated. Unflavored. You get a hint of unsweetened milk taste but that's it. Best part is it doesn't leave you with a terrible aftertaste. At the end, it all comes down to you and your flavor preferences. I lean more towards the savory and I like to stear clear of artificial sweetners and flavors. So this product was perfect for me. My only regret is getting the 1 pound packet. Will be ordering, more for sure!

I like it because it has nothing else but protein, no chemical flavors, additives, etc. Regarding the taste, of course you cannot drink it like other flavored proteins. This one you must mix it with a fruit; I put one banana and some blueberries in the mixer, and it taste great, and more natural.

Glad I tried this product. High-quality protein, no fillers or additives, gets the job done with 25g protein per scoop.

I tried this product at my friend's house & wow it doesn't taste good. Then I saw the ingredients & was shocked to see this whey still uses Ion exchange method to get it's whey isolate. Don't they know it denatures the protein? So it's not a high quality protein & it doesn't taste good as well. Entirely Waste of money. I'd be sticking with other popular brands like ON, Dymatize or MyProtein for my protein needs.

God help you if you try to drink this plain. It tastes like a cow **** when mixed with plain water; consider yourself forewarned. Mixed into a smoothie or with some almond milk, however, is perfection! If you hate the artificial sweetener taste of flavored powders you would almost certainly like this. Highly recommend.

I have tried a ton of proteins, as has every one, and this is my favorite. I put a scoop of unflavored in my coffee in the morning and it blends so well and since I like my coffee black, I like that it doesn’t affect the taste. I always come back to this protein.

Thank goodness a company makes an unflavored isolate. Not saying other whey isolates aren't good. Just that when they add in all of the flavoring (not all are natural), then you sort of go against the intent of trying to be healthy. True, you can add fruits, etc. But this stuff plain with a splash of MCT oil and my morning gets started. Please keep this product going!

Great product, gives you versatility in what you want it to taste like, I personally do a shake with almond milk and a whole banana. As far as results, has been a good product, only other supplement I use a BCAA.

Very good clean protein. I take it in the morning mixed with my Cream of Wheat with some honey and cinnamon. The result is a flavored oatmeal texture.

I've used Nature's Best unflavored for the past three years and have nothing but good results. I personally do not have a sweet tooth, but if you like your protein supplements tasting like a dessert, this might not be for you. I was looking for something where I had more control the "strength" of the flavor, rather than just adding more fluid. I will add it to soups, sauces I cook with, or even sprinkle it over a salad. To blend a smoothie I will add various fruit for flavoring, or go with chocolate almond milk and I'm done. Very good product I believe.

This is the worst tasting stuff ever! By unflavored, they mean not vanilla or chocolate. It has a horrible taste! I added a tsp of vanilla just to make it tolerable. I couldn’t imagine adding it to anything but water. It would ruin your food or drink. Yuck!

I'd done the research in the early 2000s and learned that Nature's Best Isopure Why Protein Isolate is actually some of the best stuff on the market. I also learned one year after doing a fast that it's often advised to people who've had stomach (or gastoral bypass) surgery because it's natural and, like I'd learned in my studies, some of the best stuff out there for you. So I've been using this brand for over a decade. I used to get the flavored (and they have some really good tasting flavors), but noticed that they all have sucrolose (one even had some Chinese stuff that I had to look up (2 or 3 words). Either way, I also don't like artificial sweeteners, so when I'd learned that this has about 3 ingredients, I jumped on it. Flavor: It actually tastes more like powdered milk (it's protein from milk, which makes sense). It's also creamy. Mix: They have a video that shows somebody mixing a scoop into a glass of water, but I'll tell you, no matter how many times I've tried that, it always turns out milky and with whey chunks. I don't know, maybe their tap has different stuff in it than Chicago tap, but it never worked the same for me. -I have found that it does dissolve better in warm liquid. Also, if you use almond milk, mix the powder in a little real milk first, then pour in the almond milk, bc for some reason, it doesn't dissolve as well in almond milk. -Another trick: after shaking or stirring it up for a bit, let it sit for a few minutes, then stir or shake it again. This gives it time to dissolve some, and will mix up better the 2nd time. -Or just stick it into a blender - that works every time. I do wish this came in those larger (5Lb?)buckets, like the other flavors, but for some reason, they don't. I have not tried to add it to food. (to add protein, say if I eat pasta, I'll just mix 1-2 scoops in a drink on the side). I would definitely recommend this to anybody who's looking for a good whey protein isolate that won't mess them up.
