Good product, easily works the soreness out my leg and back muscles (which I primarily use it for)
I excepted rubber or some kind of leather, but its just a very hard piece of grey styrofoam and for me with a 6" diameter is too big, it actually hurts my back
I am not that experienced with foam rolling. Started using one at the Y and it helped my rotator cuff and back issues. Anyhow, I order this roller since it was the only one on BB.com. It was passable, but not as good a quality as the ones at the Y. It is some type of dense EPS styrofoam. I suppose it wasn't too expensive, so as a "starter" roller if you are not sure about investing too much, it might be OK.
Great product. Effective to warming up and working on tight spots. However this product does seem to soften up a bit with regular use.
