After less than 6 hours use the steel cable broke due to a bad handle design. Would not recommend.

I've purchased 2 of these in the last month and they've both broken. While the spinning mechanism is fantastic when it works, GoFit's redesign of this rope leaves much to be desired. It's smooth and quick, yes. But what good it is if it's not going to last? I hope GoFit goes back to the old spinning mechanism with the loop.

GoFit redesigned this rope and eliminated the split rings at the handle, consequently the so called high endurance cable breaks in about 4 weeks, had 2. do not buy this product if you plan to jump, it won't last

This jump rope is a very good rope with great response. It works with skipping as well for double unders at a repetitive rate. The only thing is I wish it was adjustable. I am 6 foot and would like the rope to be about a half an inch shorter then the standard 9 foot. This way it would make the response time faster and help for a harder workout. Maybe I do not know how to adjust this cable. If there is a way I would sure like to know. Other then that great rope and does the job!

I like this rope a lot! Super quick and the weight of the cable really helps it hold its path. The only problem is boy does it smart when you catch yourself in the legs or arm with it LOL. I am 6 feet tall and the 9 foot rope feels like a good length. I wish you could customize it but it just happened to be right for me.
