I was in search for a yoga mat... I have been going to yoga twice a week consistently since November 2015 so I thought it was time to invest into a mat of my own. I love this mat because it is not too thin but also not too thick. If a mat is too thick it is hard to stabilize and remain balanced but if it too thin than you feel like you are on the floor and it can be painful. This mat conforms to your feet and hand placement. When you lift your hands and feet your will see your imprints. This mat almost acts like memory foam but it is not too thick. I tried a thicker mat and I was wobbling all over the place. I gave this mat an 8 because the one thing I think/I wish it came with was a carrying strap. I had to buy a carrying strap separate which was only $6.00. I am glad I bought this mat and would definitely recommend to others.!!!
