Wraps are thick and stiff fresh out the box but once broken in(2weeks) they are great so much confidence when pulling heavy weight. A lot of heavy pullers at my gym (24&LA fitness) ask where i got them because their thin, flimsy wraps are cutting it, best investment ever made
Great straps, very heavy duty! Only one problem, when you start deadlifting 500,60,700 lbs it's difficult to get a good wrap around the bar like it's not long enough! But if your not putting up that weight then these are great!
Absolutely Amazing! -- I bought these GASP Power Lifting Straps About 2 - 3 weeks ago, but DPD messed up the delivery by delivering it to the wrong house, so I gave up getting them again, but today they finally arrived and I can say I could not wait to get into the gym with these, their a bit longer than my old ones and a bit thinner, but they looked and felt amazing. when I tried these finally in the gym, they felt way way WAY better then my old ones when lifting 81 Pound Dumbbells for my back workout. they handled the weight so amazing that i didn't care that DPD messed up, just as long as i got them, and i cannot wait to buy something else from Bodybuilding.com and i hope even though this product is quite expensive than normal lifting straps, that everyone should buy and use them. thank you.
I have used different brands of wrist straps over the years. These are certainly durable and will last a long time, but the material is very thick and (for me) much less comfortable to lift with than a thinner strap.
First straps I have ever used. I don't think I'd be happy with anything less than these. I have a lot less fatigue in my hands at the end of my workout when I'm using them. The thickness makes wrapping them around the bar kind of tricky but the increased thickness it adds to the bar makes lifting more comfortable. Truly a man's lifting strap!
Great product, durable, helps me lift heavy! I know it ain't gonna break anytime in the near future.
These have helped on heavy lifting days. They don't slip once wrapped around the bar. If there is a drawback, and only a slight one, is the strap is so thick it can be hard to actually get it wrapped tightly around the bar.
I have been using these straps for a couple of years now and have been very happy with them. The are thicker that the bb.com giveaway straps with neoprene and they hold up to some serious abuse. The thickness of the strap not only helps pad the bar, but also fattens it up a little for a more comfortable grip. Highly recommended!
Really heavy duty. The only negative point is that it will hurt a little if you go really heavy and havn't strapped yourself to the bar correctly or tight enogh.
Heavy duty but too long for me
Heavy duty, Grips well. Thickest strap around.
I've read the other reviews and based my purchase on the fact some says they do not burn the skin, they are supposed to be comfortable for the skin, well THEY ARE NOT! Granted I dunno how much they lift but me I only use straps for one arm rowing dbs and way before I reach 150lbs DB they begin to leave a huge imprint in the wrist pretty much like any others.. So pretty expensive for nothing IMO. Buy any cheap one with neoprene and it will be more comfy for much less money, this is what I did.
Love these straps, comfortable on the wrists. Don't pinch you, or give you any nylon burns that others can from the material. Would definitely encourage and recommend this for people whose wrist and hand strength hasn't caught up with how much they are lifting!
I have used every strap out there over the years for powerlifting and strongman. Even go-to brands for strength accessories like Ironmind or Spud do not top this strap. These have the thickness, strength, and quality stitching that the other top straps do, however they are not "slick", allowing them to be cinched down tightly with no slipping. I doubt I will ever switch to a different strap.
