Delicious! I started taking Dymarize Casein before bed with a tablespoon of peanut butter about 4 months ago. Happy to say it has not led to drastic weight gain and I recently PR’d my bench press for the first time in four years. I feel great when I wake up and there is no doubt in my mind this product has helped greatly!
Dymatize will always be one of my go to protein supplement brands. Rich Chocolate Casein tastes great and satisfies that late night chocolate craving. I was looking for something different and decided to give Cinnamon Bun a try, Bad Idea! This cinnamon flavored awfulness is sooo sweet it's practically unbearable. I'm as frugal as they come so I'm going to gut it out and finish this 4 pound tub but when it's gone I'm going switch back to chocolate fo sho.
First time I mixed with 10oz of water. It was so thick it was so hard for me to drink it. The second time I mixed with 12 oz of water and a few ice cubes. SO MUCH BETTER! it’s delicious and just the right consistency. Keeps me full. I use this on nights before I train fasted the next morning
I love cinnamon buns, so when I saw this was a flavor for protein powder, I was super excited. The cinnamon bun protein powder shipped super fast to me and tasted awesome. I mixed it with coffee and the flavor combo was amazing. When I mixed it with water it kind of tasted like the milk leftover after eating a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch, which is not a bad thing. I would recommend this for sure.
Absolutely love this product. I have never taken Casein before but after adding this to my regimen with ISO 100 I will never go back. I have seen my best results from the gym since April when I started taking this. Mixes well and the chocolate is a perfect flavor!
The Cinnamon bun and cookies and cream are great. I have had the chocolate and before where Ienjoyed both as well. 10/10. mixes good, especially when I use a magic bullet. I could drink the cinnamon bun one as a desert it is so good. I have been buying this stuff for 2 years straight and do not plan on changing it up. The only con is it could be a bit cheaper.
Chalkier than an albino in a flour factory lol. Its drinkable. Mix it in a shaker like a madman with water or milk and you can make it work for you. I got cinnamon bun to drink for breakfast. I go about 4 hours or so without eating in the mornings so I need it in the AM with some good carbs like a bagel for breakfast. That holds me over til lunch. It does its job, but it isn't as enjoyable to drink as regular whey. That's casein for ya, though. It's OK in the world of Caseins, just a b***h to mix.
Cinnamon bun tastes exactly what a cinnamon bun air freshener smells like. Great to freshen up a room, horrible to have to put in your mouth and taste.
this is a casein protein so it works on the blender only this is for night time cravings before bed not for post workout so don't use the shaker !!!pretty good taste not after taste at all!! nice and thick to make protein fluff or puddings low carb, almost 0 fat i gave them 9 cause i will like more strong chocolate flavor im a chocoholic i just put some dark cacao and voila!!!!
Casein pudding has been a game changer for me, really helps with the sweet tooth. Cinnamon bun is great-with greek yogurt, peanut butter or just plain in a bowl of oatmeal, all delicious. Tried cookies and cream to switch things up and its not nearly as good, just tastes like processed fake flavor
The Cinnamon Bun flavor is awful., I should have stuck with smooth vanilla.
Dymatize Elite Casein Cinnamon Bun taste good for the amount of carbs in it 8/10. Xtreme Formulations - Ultra Peptide 2.0 - Cinnamon Roll tastes much better 10/10, but has 9g fat, 7g carbs and 18g protein. Compared to Dymatize Elite Casein with 1g fat, 5g carbs and 24g protein. I like Dymatize Elite Casein over BSN Syntha-6 Cinnamon Roll 7/10, 1.5g fat, 15g carbs and 22g protein, as that is has to much sweetness for my taste. Would buy again, but will keep searching for something that tastes better with lower carbs.
I did not buy from bodybuilding.com, but from a GNC. Probably wouldn't buy this again. For rich chocolate I would give the taste a 6 /10. I mixed with milk and with water and it does not mix well. After shaking for 15-20 minutes there were still many clumps. Maybe works best with a blender instead of a shaker cup. Would not buy again.
Taste is fine, not excellent. Overall it's pretty good.
