BEST BCAA 2:1:1

A FASTER WAY TO BIG

Instantized…the right way:
Give yourself the muscle-building and recovery edge you want with this super fast-acting, quality-tested (8 times!) branched-chain amino acid formula.

Our branched-chain amino acids are gently spray-dried with non-GMO lecithin from sunflower (not soy). This is real instantization. The application of lecithin allows the BCAAs to dissolve in water virtually instantly. This means they can be absorbed by your body and fed to your tired muscles faster.*

Recovery never tasted so good:
Beast BCAA 2:1:1 feels as good as it tastes. Here’s why: Training like a Beast can really do a number on your muscles. Beast BCAA 2:1:1 supports your natural recovery process from exercise to help you get back in the gym and crush it with even more weight.* The BCAAs and other amino acids help sustain muscle protein synthesis - essential for building muscle - and the tart cherry concentrate supports recovery from intense exercise.*

A ratio that makes sense. Doses that make a difference.
Don’t get fooled by other BCAA ratios, 10:1:1, 8:1:1, and so on. The 2:1:1 ratio of BCAAs used by Beast remains the most scientifically tested and proven. (It also closely matches the ratio of BCAAs in real muscle tissue.) All of the amino acids in Beast BCAA 2:1:1 are present in doses that make a difference - no “window dressing” here.

It screams quality:
As you’d expect from Beast, our BCAA formula screams quality. Our tart cherry concentrate is prepared by freeze-drying, the most scientifically proven method of preserving fresh foods in the form of powder. From farm to formula, we use farm-grown Montmorency cherries that are processed using Good Agricultural and Manufacturing Practices. They’re non-GMO and free of sorbates and sulfites. And when we say “concentrate,” we mean it: Approximately 48 pounds of fresh cherries yields 1 lb. of cherry concentrate - almost a 50:1 ratio. Finally, the quality of every lot of our BCAA 2:1:1 with InstAminos is assured using no less than 8 tests, including identity tests, heavy metals and microorganisms. We test every lot like this to ensure that every bottle of Beast BCAA 2:1:1 you purchase delivers the same muscle-building power.*

I enjoyed using a handful of samples over a week of workouts. Noticeably better performance, I could just push through a lot more of my last couple sets. Great flavour that didn't leave any bad after tastes! Beast does it again with a bomb product!

I was fortunate enough to try and review several samples of both flavors thanks to the folks at Beast Nutrition. My plan was to try this several different ways (Pre, Intra, Post, First thing in the AM, Before bed). You can say I put it to the test so to speak. Both flavors were excellent and normally I would not have chosen either. I give them a 10 on flavor alone because of the taste, plus the fact there was no chemical after taste with either. The Beast Punch was the better of the two but they really nailed the flavor on both options. Plus, it mixed well and i did not really experience much residue left at the bottom of my glass. When I say it mixed well it mixed real well. Often I used a spoon to stir it and that did the trick. If I wasn't ready to eat first thing I took it to ward off muscle catabolism. The couple times I took it at night is because it was late and I just wanted something to ward off the slight hunger without drinking or eating too much before bed time. While I was still sore after using Beast BCAA I knew I was feeding my muscles the aminos it needed to recover and grow. This is a simple yet effective product you can use in so many ways and both flavors were easy on the palate with Beast Punch being something you could drink all day and it only making you want more of it. The best compliment I can give Beast BCAA Powder is I would use it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality BCAA product. Go with the Beast Punch as I think that would appeal to more people's tastes buds.

Taste: The flavors I tried were the tropical breeze and beast punch. My best description of the tropical breeze would be similar to Capri sun tropical punch with a heavy emphasis of pineapple, but not as sweet and very tart. It was very tart with the recommended amount of water so I had to add more water to dilute it out. Some may like tart drinks, but it was a little too tart for my honest liking. I had to take this one down in sips. If I would have to rate it, I would say it's a 7.5 which is average. Mainly because I had difficulty getting over the tart taste. My best description of the beast punch is think a perfectly made Kool Aid tropical punch. It was very fruity with a lot of cherry flavor, not too tart and not too sweet, but a perfect balance. It was very smooth, easy to drink and difficult to not drink the whole thing in one sitting. The beast punch was definitely a winner! 10/10 Mixability: In the 8 ounces of water for each scoop, I found it mixed pretty well overall. It was not real frothy like other BCAA products, but it did have a noticeable amount of sediment at the bottom. I found I had to add a touch of water to make sure I got it all. Since there was not a perfect mix, I'd say it's a 8.5/10. Dosing and Recovery: I took the product before my workout and also tried it intra-workout. I found in a fasted state, this took the edge off hunger for about an hour and a half. This was in a 5g dose (1 serving size). I still had noticeable soreness, but it was not bad. I tried taking it before my workout and during for my second run. I noticed I did not fatigue as fast in a fasted state whereas normally I wouldn't work out as intense when hungry.

I tried multiple servings of both flavors. My favorite was the Beast Punch, which is pretty amazing because I usually don’t like fruit punch supplements. Both flavors tasted great and quite refreshing. Not too much artificial coloring which is awesome. The powder mixes well, but you’ll see small particles in your shaker, especially as you get towards the bottom of it. This is because of the Tart Cherry Powder, I guess. It didn’t bother me, but it will be noticeable. The price is good at about $0.80/scoop but I would probably end up double-scooping this (5gBCAA per scoop). I am quite happy with this product. I would recommend.

I always use BCAA's when I train and I was interested in this product because of the 2:1:1 ratio that it has. Plus it also has Vitamin D and some B Vitamins as well as Tart Cherry Powder. That last ingredient is what really intrigued me as I had heard about its recovery properties. After using this product over a span of time, I did feel a little less sore the following day. The product was great to use intra-workout and was extremely refreshing to drink.

What appeals to me about Beast Nutrition's BCAA is mainly the BCAA's. I'm up at 4:30am 5 days per week to go to the gym and I find myself always trying to optimize what I eat prior to training and while I'm there. I could drink a protein shake, but I'm not sure that'd digest the best, nor the quickest. So I've been a BCAA lover for the past couple years since it's easily digested and triggers MPS if you get enough of Leucine (~3g). This BCAA supplement has 2.5g Leucine, and 1.25g Isoleucine and 1.25g Valine, almost hitting the mark I like. I do like the other added ingredients, but they're not at high enough doses to really do anything IMO. Taste: The Tropical Breeze flavor tastes great. It's different from most supplements because it tastes like a pina colada, which I will admit I enjoy on vacation...so this sort of makes me think I'm on vacation, even living up here in the PNW. It tastes great, maybe a little too sweet for some. But that's just an excuse to add some extra water, which I always find myself doing so it's nice this doesn't get diluted with extra water (think 16oz water). Typically I'm sipping on this from about 4:45am to 5am while I'm getting the morning going and packing lunch and stuff. I enjoy every sip. The Beast Punch flavor tastes like every other fruit punch flavor, so meh for me. If I were to buy, I'd go with Tropical Breeze.

Ohhh that Tropic Breeze! This is a really solid BCAA with some extra goodies. The inclusion of D3, B6, B12, and tart cherry shows me the thoughtfulness of the people who built this. The extra aminos are nice for energy/endurance, but I'm not sure about the dosage. I use this intraworkout with just water and it gets me through. My preference would be to use 1.5 scoops but it's inexpensive enough to do that without breaking the bank. The only thing I see missing from a few other aminos is a hydration component (like coconut powder), but still, it works.

I feel BEAST really hit a home run with these BCAAs. They have an outstanding profile, with a solid ratio, and include Glycine, Alanine, and Taurine as a bonus. I also love the fact that they include tart cherry! I personally use tart cherry daily and feel it has excellent anti-inflammatory effects, and aids in my recovery. These both mix exceptionally well in cold water, and I found 16-18 oz to be the best for me, as I like my BCAAs a little less sweet. Beast Punch is a very unique take on fruit punch, and has a hint of cherry to it, that is very refreshing. Tropical Breeze is absolutely delicious! It has a nice blend of pineapple, citrus, and my favorite: coconut! Both flavors would be outstanding blended up with ice and served as a "mocktail". They both mix easily in a shaker, and you will see some settling of the tart cherry at the bottom of the cup, so just swish around before each sip. No artifical dyes in these! Just a very solid product. I highly recommend!

I received some samples of both flavors of these bcaa's in the Beast Punch and Tropical Breeze and I've been using them as my intra-workout beverage for the past two weeks during my weight training workouts. The ingredient profile is pretty solid with all the ingredients fully disclosed so you know how much of each ingredient your getting. The bcaa's are dosed in a 2:1:1 ration which is an effective dose and it has a dose of Tart Cherry Powder which you don't see too often but a good addition to a recovery supplement. The powder mixes very well with virtually no foam but you do get some particles floating to the bottom and you will notice a little red on the bottom of your shaker when your using the Tropical Breeze flavor and that's probably from the tart cherry powder. These bcaa's have no artificial color so the punch flavor is a light red which is colored naturally by red beet powder and this is a good trend that I'm stating to see companies do by avoiding artificial colors and using natural things for coloring. The taste of the Tropical Breeze is a light and refreshing pineapple flavor with just a hint of coconut and the Beast Punch is not your traditionally fruit punch. This fruit punch is not overly sweet so the flavor is captured well in about 10-14oz of water and it has a unique undertone of cherry which as well as the Tropical Breeze was enjoyable to drink and I highly recommend using ice cold water with a little crushed ice so the slight bitterness from the bcaa's are not tasted at the end of each sip. Overall I couldn't really say which flavor I enjoyed more cause they both had it's uniqueness in taste so I would recommend giving both flavors a try cause I found the formula, mix ability, and taste to be on point with any other straight forward bcaa's on the market and BEAST SPORTS did a nice job on this one.

Very solid BCAA product here! I really like using my BCAA products intra workout, to help delay any soreness and also to keep my hydration up. This product does both of those! Using it I was noticeably less sore after workouts than I was when not using Beast BCAA 2:1:1. And its definitely great for hydration as well! The ingredient list is great. Its simple, yet effective having 5g of BCAA's along with added tart cherry powder which is supposed to aid in recovery too. The flavors are great, tropical breeze is very good, and beast punch is amazing! Definitely flavors that i never got tired of. The mixability of this product is excellent, and the texture is great too. Overall, great BCAA product!!

I prefer BCAA products that have the 2:1:1 ratio which is what this product from Beast Sports contains. The inclusion of tart cherry powder was something I loved seeing as I had heard this was a great ingredient to help with your recovery. All in all, I think this product was well formulated and tastes great. A very refreshing intra-workout for me.

My review will be about the flavor of the product rather than the effectiveness/ formula. I was expecting Beast Punch to taste better than Tropical Breeze but it was the opposite. Tropical Breeze was surprisingly pleasant. It had a heavy pineapple taste and some light coconut notes as well. Beast Punch flavor wasn't as good as I thought it would be was still pretty good.

Taste is very subjective and it can be easy to just rate it a 9, thesre awesome refreshing flavors. The tropical breeze flavor was the first I tried, it's like a pinepple, the cherry tones on the beast punch are there too. I was not a big fan of Aminolytes flavoring, kinda sour and not that appetizing. Not gonna neg the pricing, it's market average and you get what you pay for with a lot of quality, a ratio that's clinically tested and mixes great (instantized) and no artificial colors, although Beast doesn't make a point of selling this aspect.

Taste-10/10 Stuff was awesome. My wife loved it too, and she can be pretty picky about supplement tastes. I'm not a huge fan of what "tropical breeze" may have been but this stuff was awesome. Would totally buy it Mixability-10/10 I never had any issue here. I just put it in a 32oz gatorade bottle and shake. Price-8/10 Eh. $0.83 here on bodybuilding. Not too bad. Kind of middle of the road. But the formula is pretty good and you only need 1 scoop. Overall-9/10 Only reason I knocked it down a bit was because of the price being semi-high. Other than that, great taste, mixes great and its 5g aminos per scoop. Pretty solid. Would recommend.

Mixability 8/10: I used a funnel and a water bottle. The product mixes very well, but settles afterwards. This is not€™t a problem, as a couple of shakes before you drink it will blend it up nicely again, but I am dropping the score a little bit just because you have to do that sporadically to keep it mixed. If you chug it, it is not an issue at all. If you like to sit and sip on it intra workout or you just like to drink it slow be prepared. This definitely shouldn’t be a deal breaker though. The product is not clumpy or chunky. Again, it i€™s only a little bit of settling. Flavor 8/10: The Tropical Flavor is no€™t bad but still is not quite strong enough to mask the strong flavor of the BCAAs. Before you question if I should adjust the water to enhance the taste. I ha€™ve tried it with less water and I have tried it diluted with more water. I actually think the flavor is better a little stronger. With that being said, I have found that I enjoy it the best when I double up and do 2 scoops and 16oz of water. Flavor is definitely tolerable, and a lot of people will enjoy it. Profile 10/10: This product has a very nice ratio 2:1:1 (L-Leucine 2500mg:L-Isoleucine 1250mg:L-Valine1250mg).The high dose of Vitamin D (1000IU) and Vitamin B6 (10mg) & Vitamin B12 (30mg) is a great touch. I a€™m also interested in the addition of the tart cherry powder, as more and more research is starting to show added benefits from taking this. The product also has two additional non-essential amino acids (465mg of glycine and 300mg of L-Alanine) and 300mg of taurine. As far as the taurine goes, I do no€™t think 1 serving has enough to really give you that much of an added kick. Just my opinion, take 2 scoops if you want to get some extra energy out of it. Over all, I give BCAA 2:1:1 an 8/10 score. I like how there are no proprietary blends. I like the ratio, the added vitamins, and the added tart cherry powder, but the flavor isn’t quite there for me. I think I would have enjoyed the fruit punch more. Still, it is a good product! I have felt good in the gym from taking it, and I look forward to seeing how it's going to make me feel as I continue to take it. :D
