Nothing goes together better than pork chops and apples. This recipe goes one step further and puts all your comfort flavors together: apples, bacon, and maple syrup. These chops will have you patting your stomach and feeling fine!

pork chops Ingredients

  • 8 oz lean pork chops
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp grapeseed oil
  • 12 g Jym Mass Apple Fritter

maple bacon apple relish Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Walden Farms Syrup
  • 1 slice bacon
  • 50 g unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp, leaves thyme
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste
  • 50 g apples
  • 50 g onion, finely chopped

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon strip until crisp, set aside on a paper towel to cool, then cut into bits.
  2. In the same pan, cook the onion and apple over medium heat until soft.
  3. Add the bacon to the applesauce and onion mixture. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove from heat. Add thyme, salt, and pepper, and set aside.
  6. Salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops.
  7. Using a pie dish or plate, dredge both sides of chops in Apple Fritter Mass JYM.

  9. Cook chops 3 minutes per side until golden brown or cooked to medium (140 degrees F internal temperature). Note: Cook time may vary depending on thickness of chops.
