[ Q ] How did the gym start and why did you decide to begin (or work within) the gym business.
[ A ] It started in 1988 because of the lack of quality gyms; our motto has and always will be quality. With that in mind we went about hand selecting the finest pieces from each of the top brands: Hammer Strength, Life Fitness, Precor and Cybex.
Through good management we continue to stay ahead of the field - where many gyms have come and gone due to stiff competition from the big chain fitness centres we continue to thrive, why? Because we're up to the challenge. Bring it on baby!
[ Q ] Who are your top trainers and why are they so good? (please provide pictures)
[ A ] Our top trainers are Mets Analin, Danny Nelan,
Rosa Romero, Mark Marshall Wazza, and myself Murat Analin.
Why are we so good? Because of our ability to keep our clients
motivated, our proven training methods, and last but not least our facilities - we train everyone from the housewife to the elite athlete.
[ Q ] What special services do you provide?
[ A ] The special service we provide is our ability to keep people motivated, our willingness to provide our members with the latest training and dietary tips, and we regularly upgrade our equipment to keep things fresh - like the saying goes: a change is as good as a holiday.
[ Q ] Who are your most notable members (famous current and/ or past?)
[ A ] Most notable current members former IFBB Pros Kevin O' Grady, Charlie Duca, Pro IFBB competitor
Rosa Romero, numerous men's bodybuilding and women's figure national champions, and many National Rugby League players train here in the off-season. The most notable past members were John Terrelli and
Brian Buchanan former Mr. Olympia finalists.
[ Q ] Can you provide me with a member's success story?
[ A ] Peter Manesis went from 130kg to 80kg in six months under the guidance of his trainer Mets Analin. Peter has since gone on to become one of our top trainers himself.
[ Q ] What are your future plans for the Gym?
[ A ] To keep doing what we do best, striving for excellence, not becoming complacent, and always searching for new and better ideas to keep Titan at the top of the mountain.
[ Q ] What attracts potential members to walk through tour doors?
[ A ] Everything from our warm friendly staff to our world class gym facilities, and our competitively low prices.
[ Q ] What makes them stay?
[ A ] When your at the top of the mountain the view and energy is too good to go else where, why go down when you can stay up.
[ Q ] What is the funniest/weirdest exercise you have seen performed in your gym?
[ A ] Funnily enough there hasn't been any because our
trainers teach proper exercise form to all our new clients from day one.
[ Q ] What is the funniest question you have been asked by a potential member?
[ A ] One day a thin guy weighing around 65kg walked into the gym and asked me how long it would take him to be able to bench press 200kg, he said he needed to be able to do it in three weeks. I thought he was joking but he was dead serious!
About 10 minutes after he left the gym I received a call from the local radio station asking if a man came in recently asking if it was possible to bench press 200kg. If I'd only asked this man if he was the 2day FM fugitive I would have won myself 50K!
