Tammie Hopkins Leady, IFBB Fitness Pro, Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Model and Actress.She began her competitive fitness career six years ago, extending beyond a career as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Originally from Port Arthur, Texas, Leady currently resides in Atlanta, GA.

Tammie has been involved in competitive and recreational sports since about the age of nine, sports including track and field, basketball,softball, volleyball and cheerleading. After relocating to Tampa, Fl, is when she discovered her passion for fitness competitions.

Tammie Hopkins-Leady is the "1999 Fittest Female" as voted by Atlanta Sports and Fitness Magazine. She is 15 year veteran of the fitness industry who is a Personal Trainer, Model, Actress, Group Exercise Instructor and Fitness Competitor in the IFBB Professional Fitness Sanction.

In addition to being Atlanta's "Fittest Female",Tammie has now earned status as an IFBB Pro Fitness Competitor after winning the NPC's Team Universe 2001. She has finished among the top 5 in the National Physique Committee's Team Universe and National Fitness competitions. Tammie was also a top 20 finalist in ESPN's Fitness America Pageant. You may have even caught a glimpse of Tammie performing her award winning routine on ESPN, ESPN2 and Fox Sports. In May of 1998 she earned the title of Georgia's Eastern Seaboard Fitness Champion, along with top honors for best routine. Her magazine features include; Flex , Ironman, Today's Black Woman, Oxygen, Generation H, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and Atlanta Sports and Fitness to name a few.

In 1997, her first obstacle course competition proved to be another success for Tammie. She made the semifinals of "The LifeQuest Triple Crown," and placed third in the fitness round. Her accomplishments don't stop at fitness competitions. She is also part of the cast on The Man Made Movie on TBS Superstation, the YMCA's Hip Hop video, spearheaded and choreographed their youth fitness hip-hop funk program and was a regular on the Jack Harris show live from Busch Gardens, in Tampa, FL. In addition, she captured a large audience as a television spokesmodel for Shapes Total Fitness Centers throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Currently, Tammie has her sights on qualifying for the Fitness Olympia. While focusing on that goal, she continues her pursuit to motivate, educate and help others to make fitness a daily lifestyle.
