Podcasting enables independent producers to create self-published, syndicated "radio shows," while giving broadcast radio or television producers a new distribution method.
Today Dan speaks with Dr. Steve Nissen, Ph.D., Professor of Nutrition and cofounder of MTI, the company that researched and developed the ingredient HMB (β-hydroxy β-methylbutyrate) for use in sports nutrition products and other human nutrition uses involving building and maintaining muscle mass.
In this interview, Dr. Nissen discusses his career researching protein synthesis and breakdown, and the research process that led to the development of HMB products. Dr. Nissen reviews highlights of his research starting with his efforts researching Leucine and how this research led him to HMB, and the slow, lengthy process of research and development.
Steve Nissen, Ph.D.
