Become the master of your mind and body. You have the power to make them work for you. The process of shaping your body is not simple and it does not happen overnight. Think of it as a form of art - it takes time to sculpt the body. Moreover, a healthy diet, regular workouts and rest are very important.
Discover Your Dream Body
Decide How You Want To Look & Feel
The artist Vincent Van Gogh once said: "I dream my painting and I paint my dream". You can do the same. Start with asking yourself:
| Vincent Van Gogh:
Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 - 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist. Some of his paintings are now among the world's best known, most popular and expensive works of art.
- How would I like to look?
- How would I like to feel in my new body?
Then start creating in your mind a healthy, strong posture, beautiful and tightly shaped legs, nicely shaped arms and back, flat stomach and narrow waist. See yourself in a new light and a new body and you will be able to accomplish it.
Be Responsible For How You Look & Feel
Working as a
personal trainer for many years, I have heard all kinds of different excuses for being out of shape. Actually, most of us like to blame somebody or something else for the way we feel and look. We blame our parents and
genetics. Then we blame our job for making us so busy that we forget how to take care of ourselves.
Blaming someone or something else is so easy. It is easier than facing the real problem which is in us. Once we accept responsibility for whatever we create in our life, especially the way we look and feel, we can start making radical changes.
We have to understand that blaming others for the way we feel and look is a waste of time. Blaming others won't change the way you look and feel. Taking responsibility can bring changes in your body, mind and health. We all deserve to feel great and be in shape. Only you can make it happen.
Lay The Foundation
Set Goals For Yourself
Goals are like plans. They will help you stay focused to shape the body, lose or gain weight. The most important thing about goals is to write them down in detail. Be specific about your goal and what you want to accomplish. Ground the goals with a time frame. When do you want the goal to be accomplished?
|WHAT'S YOUR GOAL?|
Visualize your goals and find the determination to accomplish them. Think about what you want to look like, the shape of your body and your desired weight. This will create a new
motivation for you. Set aside time each day to visualize your goals. Commit yourself to constant improvement and put yourself on a mission to look and feel better than ever. Constantly ask yourself these questions:
- How can I make my body look stronger?
- How can I increase my energy level?
- How can I feel better?
Remember, it takes time to change the way you look. Take it one step at a time, but don't skip steps. If your goal is fat loss, then spend the time researching proper nutrition. Make a commitment and do what you need to do every day to work towards your goals.
Be Persistent In Your Efforts
To lose weight or get back in shape, you'll need persistence to do things right for a healthy mind, body and spirit. The most important thing is to never give up. If you stay on your diet and exercise plan long enough, you will get the desired results.

Have Passion For Your Lifestyle
Let's assume that your goal is to improve your health, mind and body. You brought the decision to make the necessary changes and you made the plan to acheive your goal. You'll need one more thing to give you the extra push - passion. Feel passionate about your health, mind, body and overall life.
Passion has to come from loving and enjoying yourself. To acheive success in what you do, you have to believe that the outcomes will be nothing but success. Use affirmations to increase your belief. Affirmations are strong, positive statements you make such as: "I am looking and feeling better than ever".
Once you have your list of affirmations, you need to exercise your mind daily by putting them into practice. Write down your list of affirmations and read them in the morning and the evening. Believe in yourself and what you set your goals on.
