How Did You Get Started?

I started bodybuilding about 9 years ago, I had just graduated from high school and at 142lbs, I realized that I really didn't want to be so skinny, and at that time, weak for the sport I had been involved with since I was eight years old; martial arts! I started weight training to gain strength and power but ended up seeing that my body was a prime specimen for muscular growth.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

The plan I used was one where I was totally overtrained, however I have since been educated and now practice a two on, one off routine. Becoming an Exercise Physiologist was the best educational choice I could have made. I do stress that I change my routine very often, maintaining a constant state of confusion for my body. Obviously I train until I have reached complete muscle failure, however this is in itself an art. I focus on the goal, provide a TRUE stimulus, allow for optimal recovery, and maintain a constant intake of quality food.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Supplements that have worked for me have been pretty basic, a good whey protein powder, MuscleTech's Celltech (a creatine formulated powder with a simple sugar added for faster absorption of the creatine into the muscle), and a hefty amount of amino acid caps.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love the bodybuilding lifestyle because it is one of health, high energy, feeling and looking good, positive attitude, constant learning and for the athlete, competition!

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

My future bodybuilding plans include continued competing on the national level and hopefully acquiring more sponsors. I very much hope to see some more doors open along the lines of SPORT MODELING, which is one of my main interests.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Lastly, the one tip I would give other bodybuilders, as there are so many really, would be to focus on small goals as opposed to the final result. Be patient with the smaller goals as they are more easily obtained and will allow you to keep focused. The final goal will come, patience and consistency are the tickets to health and fitness goals at every level.

Yours in health,
