How Did You Get Started?

When I was a junior in high school, I took a strength training class, and fell in love with the idea of working out. I started to see tremendous results immediately and it gave me the motivation to keep working out. I continued all through out high school and joined a health club my senior year.

Working out had become a big part of my life, and it seemed like I was almost addicted to it. My gains from working out were progressive and people started telling me to compete in bodybuilding shows. I thought about it but never went ahead with it until I met a friend at the gym, who's a former bodybuilder of the week on this site, Orville Matherson. Since then, I've become a competitive bodybuilder.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Honestly, I don't use too many supplements but the ones I do use are: OffSeason - Whey Protein, Creatine (EAS Phosphagen HP), and vitamins. When I'm dieting: Whey Protein, and Xenedrine NRG.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love bodybuilding because of what it represents. In order to be a successful bodybuilder, an individual has to have patience, dedication, motivation, and most of all, discipline. Now all these characteristics of a great bodybuilder can be projected onto any and every other goal one wishes to achieve.

I love the sport because it makes me feel healthy, and obviously gets me a lot of attention! It is a sport that has no drawbacks or restrictions attached to it, anyone who has the love for the sport and the will, can do it.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

At the moment, I am just concerned about competing in natural bodybuilding competitions. It is my goal to compete at the national level. At that point, I'll make a decision regarding the next step. Either way, I'll always be a part of the sport. I am also pursuing a career as a fitness professional. I would like to eventually be a personal trainer to celebrities and other professional athletes.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

I believe bodybuilding is 60% diet, 40% exercise! The one tip I would give to other bodybuilders is never ever give up on your goals whatever they may be. Just be patient, there are many different methods of training to build a spectacular physique so believe in "your way" and success will come!
