How Did You Get Started?
I was 15 years old when I began rowing. Of course some parts of training were in the gym, which is where I got hooked! After 3 years I quit rowing and continued training with weights. I entered my first competition when I was 20 and took 3rd place. I was very exited about it and decided to compete every year. My greatest accomplishment to date was placing 10th at the World Championship which was organized by NABBA/WFF.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
For me there are just heavy weights and short training sessions during the off-season with great amounts of quality food. Neglecting nutrition is the biggest mistake of them all!
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
As soon as I figured out that I have to increase protein intake at least 2-3g / kg I began to grow. Everybody should know about getting enough protein and how important it is! As for the carbs, I don't have problems, so I can eat a few hundred grams a day. Olive oil and other sources of EFA omega etc. should also be a part of an everyday nutritional plan.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
First of all, I like the healthy lifestyle. Of course there is self-confidence bodybuilding gives you. You feel and look great, and also help others to achieve that as well. I think everybody should have some kind of a hobby involving exercise. Nowadays most people seem to be living an unhealthy lifestyle. This gives me an opportunity to help motivate those who may need the exercise.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
Well, if my sponsor Scitec Nutrition will support me, I plan to attend bigger European competitions. My ideal competition weight is at least 100 kg ripped, so I'll try to reach that goal in the next 4 years. Then we will see.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
You have to make a few sacrifices if you want results. Just be patient and your hard work will pay off! Of course you need to remember to keep eating (the right food of course)!
