How Did You Get Started?
My best friend got me started while I was stationed on a submarine. We trained intensely for two years. He taught me the importance of rest and nutrition as well as training hard in the gym.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I like to hit one body part per week so I can thrash that part and let it fully recover before the next training cycle. My favorite is the five day split working abs every other day:
- Monday: Legs
- Tuesday: Chest
- Wednesday: Back
- Thursday: Shoulders and Traps
- Friday: Arms
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
I just try to eat healthy and get a lot of protein.

I have received the best results from Muscletech Cell-Tech and EAS Myoplex.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
Bodybuilding is an intensive sport, which requires dedication. You can really learn a lot about yourself when you need to dig deep inside to squeeze out that last rep in a set.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I will continue to train in my gym and compete in the future. Following my retirement from the military, I would like to become a personal trainer.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
If you have never competed in a bodybuilding show, give it a try. It will require a great deal of dedication and will power to survive the late night hunger pains, but the feeling of being on stage with the crowd cheering will keep you coming back.
