How Did You Get Started?
Five years ago, a friend of mine talked me into joining the gym because they were running a special deal at the gym. I was about 155 lbs. at the time and I started training on a regular basis. My brother took me to my first bodybuilding show where I saw this guy from my gym win the overall. The next day, I congratulated Dave when I saw him in the gym and he told me that I should try doing a competition. I told him that I was a buck fifty-five and that I didn't think that I could do it. Dave assured me that if I were to train with him and that I could be really good. I gave a 110% when I trained and before I knew it, I was winning shows.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
The workout plan that worked best for me was training one body part per day at two days on and one day off. It didn't matter what day of the week it was to train a certain body part. I also seen the best results when I first began bodybuilding by training heavy.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding because it gave me confidence in myself. Who would have thought I would be seen in all the bodybuilding magazines such as Muscle & Fitness, Flex, MuscleMag, and Ironman. I now know that if I can win a bodybuilding show, then I can do accomplish anything I put my mind to. Because of bodybuilding, I quit my job that I hated and went back to school to get my degree. So far, I got my AA degree and I am almost done with my BA degree. I also now work in Law Enforcement and I love my job. Bodybuilding really did change my life.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I plan on competing at the 2003 NPC Los Angeles Bodybuilding Championships and the 2003 NPC USA Bodybuilding Championships. Both shows are in July and you can bet that I am going to do damage at both of them.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
The one tip that I can give is to get lots of rest. A lot of bodybuilders overtrain and sometimes forget that you grow when you rest.
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
My favorite bodybuilders are Aaron Baker, Quincy Talylor, Bob Chicherillo, Idrise Ward-el, and Troy Alves. These group of guys have great personalities and have always offered their help to me. Character really counts a lot in my book.
