How Did You Get Started?
I was 19 years old and had never really worked out in my life when one day a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to use a free pass to a local gym. I agreed given the fact that I didn't have to pay anything. After that week, I got a pass to the gym and have been going ever since.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
My workout has changed so much over the last year it amazes me looking back what I started out doing and what I do now. I started off just doing some flyes and a few Universal exercises. After about a month, I started talking to other people in the gym and also surfing the net for more information about the sport of bodybuilding. In the end, the workout plan that works best for me and is how I currently work out is:
Monday: Chest and Shoulders
Tuesday: Legs and Back
Wednesday: Biceps and Triceps
I repeat the process for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and on Sunday I will either rest or, depending on how I feel, will go to the gym and do super-sets.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
The supplements that have given me the greatest gains have been Creatine, ZMA, and Protein shakes. Before I started using any supplements, I would be sore more often, and I did not see gains like I see them now. I would recommend to any person looking to gain mass and lean muscle to try those three supplements.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding cause I feel better about everything. I wake up in the morning feeling energized because I know I am going to work out in about 30 minutes. It also puts life in persepective for me because I figure if I can be so dedicated to something like bodybuilding, then I can be just as dedicated to anything else and accomplish whatever I want to.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I hope within a year to be competing and winning competitions. My main goal though with bodybuilding will always be to just feel better, get bigger, and stay fit.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Don't quit. I firmly believe that if you can push yourself to go lift every single day you schedule for yourself, then the gains you will see will not only be more motivation for you, but they will also be motivation for people who have maybe thought about liftng, but have never bothered to try.
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
My favorite bodybuilders go like this: I like Arnold the best. It then goes Ronnie Coleman and Shawn Ray. I like Arnold because he was just the best ever and I just really admire Ronnie and Shawn because of how huge they are and what they have accomplished.
