Grilled Turkey Club


Turkey Bacon, Cooked 4 slices

100% Whole Wheat Bread 4 slices

Light Margarine 6 teaspoons

Mustard 1 tablespoon

Turkey Breast, sliced 4 ounces

Fresh Tomato 4 slices

Reduced-fat cheddar cheese, shredded 2 ounces (1/2cup)

  1. Put bacon atop 2 paper towels on a microwave-safe plate; lay another towel on top.
  2. Microwave until crisp, about 2 minutes. (The paper towels will absorb much of the fat.)
  3. Crumble, then spread one side of each bread slice with mustard and the other side with 1 teaspoon of margarine.
  4. Top 2 slices of bread each with half of the turkey, tomato, bacon and cheese.
  5. Top each stack with a slice of bread, mustard side in.
  6. In a nonstick pan, melt remaining margarine over medium heat.
  7. Grill sandwiches until golden, 3-4 minutes per side. Cut in half; serve.
