How Did You Get Started?

I was a kind of stout boy in my school days. After my schooling I joined a gym just to get into shape. I got reduced to 60kg from 75kg in a span of 3 months by diet and workout alone.

This made me realize my inner ability in the field of bodybuilding. Initially my parents didn't like my interest toward bodybuilding; it took quite a long time to convince them. But without their knowledge I was still working out.

What Workout Plan Worked
Best For You?

During the off season I do a 6 days on and 1 day off routine with higher weights and lower reps. I do little cardio during my offseason.

While dieting for a show I train in the same way 6 days on and 1 day off but with lower weights and higher rep. I usually carry out 45 min of cardio and every night I practice the posing for 15min.

Day 1: Chest/Triceps

Day 2: Shoulders/Back

Day 3: Legs/Biceps


Resume regular sets

Day 4: Chest/Triceps

Day 5: Shoulders/Back

Day 6: Legs/Biceps


Resume regular sets

Day 7: Off

I had seen my grandpa doing all kinds physical activity at the age of 70. Since an early age his physique was something which was not appreciated by my dad until recently. With genetics and day by day activity, my dad also maintained a good physique until his marriage. Hearing these things from my elders and their pasts motivated me.

What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?

Initially I had no encouragement or support from my parents. My brother and friend Mani was the only person who motivated and supported me to achieve my goal. Now my parents are proud of my perfect lifestyle and they have started encouraging me. But still, I give credit to Mani as the person behind my success.

What Are Your Future Fitness/Bodybuilding Plans?

As a bodybuilder I am interested in spreading my knowledge about bodybuilding to the upcoming generations and as a fitness coach I would like to support and motivate anyone who has interest in this lifestyle.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?

Mental focus is the main thing in bodybuilding. Everyone has a sad side in their life. Keep the sad feeling as the base; then convert the disappointment, sadness, and anger into a positive energy, utilizing this energy to achieve your goal.
