Cardio While Bulking


You'll need to do 30 minutes of cardio today.

Strengthening Your Cardiovascular System

One of the main benefits of doing cardio while bulking is strengthening your cardiovascular system. Your cardiovascular system transports oxygen throughout the body and delivers it to tissues that need it.

Oxygen is needed to metabolize nutrients as well as remove waste products from your muscles during exercise.

Sometime not getting enough oxygen to your muscles can limit your reps.

Increased Nutrient Delivery

As you do cardio your body increases blood flow to your muscles. During the hours following your cardio session your body will send more nutrients towards your muscles and less towards your fat cells. This means greater gains in muscles and less fat gains.

This increased oxygen and nutrient delivery will also enhance recovery.
