Curtsy lunge

The curtsy lunge is a lower-body bodyweight movement that targets the muscles of the hips and glutes. It is usually performed for moderate to high reps, at least 8-12 reps per leg.


  1. Builds strength in the glute medius, abductors, and adductors
  2. Works the quads and hamstrings
  3. Works core strength to maintain position and keep a neutral spine
  4. Trains hips outside of normal exercise plane of motion
