How Did You Get Started?

I was introduced to weight training almost 10 years ago by boyfriend (and now husband). I really enjoyed being strong and muscular! I trained on and off for several years until finally, last January, I gave myself the goal to compete in the same year.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I enjoy a variety of workouts as my trainer; Francine Savard from Proactif Fitness ( always keeps me on my toes. My workout plans consist mostly of supersets, combining 2 or 3 muscle groups. My programs are usually on a 3-day split and I train 5-6 days a week.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

When I started to eat clean, the best advice I got was to eat smaller portions but more frequently and it has worked wonders for me. Since I eat every 3 hours, I am never hungry and I always have energy!

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

I have noticed that glutamine has helped me a lot with my recuperation.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love it because it makes me feel confident. When you feel good about yourself, it shows in how you walk, talk and overall attitude in life.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

Fresh from a win at the FCPAQ Progym Cup last November, I am eager to compete in several events in 2006! Watch out for me at the WNSO Fame East show in Montreal on May 6th and FCPAQ regional show on July 8th. In the long run, I would love to be the owner of a fitness-related business.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Get a good trainer. You can always find the answers and learn on your own but you will save time and mistakes by working with someone who has the experience and knowledge on how things are done.

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

My role models are Allison Ethier and Kary Odiatu. I had the chance to meet them a few years ago and they have motivated me to follow the path of fitness.
