How Did You Get Started?
I have always been active. I saw a fitness contest on ESPN and this sparked my interest. I have always been competitive by nature. The more I saw other athletes in bodybuilding and fitness magazines, I thought, I can do this. The fitness routine gave me a chance to show my strength and athleticism and put my competitiveness to use.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Alternating heavy lifting with lighter lifting. This allows me to continue to developed the definition that I need while improving my strength that I need to perform strength moves in my routine. I love kickboxing as a cardio workout. It really burns your shoulders and back while giving you a great cardio workout.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Hydroxycut helps me to get cut for a show and allows me to show off my favorite body part--abs. I really think that by incorporating protein bars into my diet have helped to build up my muscle mass quickly. I also take a multivitamin to keep me balanced. I have a well rounded diet but I like to take the extra vitamins just to cover all of the bases.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
The healthy lifestyle helps me to keep the body I like and gain strength. Meeting others in the sport and the destressing that the cardio and weight lifting does is wonderful. Hopefully it will lead to other things too.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I would like to get my pro card. I have a lot of hard work to do in order to get there. Maybe get more recognition and even have some endorsements. Possibly expand my website and even get my trainer certification so I can help others to obtain their fitness goals!
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
I have not placed as high as I think that I should in recent shows. I would advise anyone that is competing to remember that you can only compete against yourself. My goal is to come into a show looking better than I did at the previous show. If I do that and I perform my routine to the best of my ability I have to be happy. That is all that I can do.
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
I admire all of the professionals. I always enjoy the guest posers that appear at the fitness shows that I compete in. I admire their dedication to the sport. I would have to say that my favorite figure is Monica Brant. I also love Debbie Krucks muscle tone, but I love Kelly Ryan's routines.
