How Did You Get Started?
I had always liked weight lifting, but never had the opportunity to get into it good. I had a very bad back and was told not to lift at all. About three years ago, I was 128 lbs, and 28 waist, and smoked a pack and a half a day. I just decided one day that I didn't like this look and quit smoking, went to the gym and got into training...I haven't stopped since.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
My workout plan that worked best, Is a five day routine, basically one body part per day and also one day push, next day pull routine. I work abs three times a week and calves twice a week. On each body part, I usually do three exercises. Four sets on the first exercise, which is usually the heavy set. Three sets on the other exercises. I try not to go too high on reps, usually from 10 - 4 reps...I work up for 4 weeks in weight and the 5th week I shock the muscles by hitting em heavy and working down, the end weight being the top weight when working up.
