How Did You Get Started?
I started working out seriously when I turned 40. I looked in the mirror and knew I had to make some changes to myself and my lifestyle. I quit smoking and purchased a membership at the closest gym I could find (which was 20 miles away). I drove 40 miles roundtrip, 4 times a week to workout. I was very dedicated.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Sample Training Week:Training each bodypart once a week:
- Monday: Chest and Biceps
- Tuesday: Back and Triceps
- Thursday: Shoulders, Abs and Forearms
- Friday: Legs.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
Most of the year it is 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% good fats. When I'm getting ready to compete I increase the protein to 50%, carbs 35% and fats15%.

It just makes me feel good about myself. It gives me confidence and makes me feel and look younger than I really am.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I plan to compete in the Ontario Bodybuilding Championships June 23,in London, Ontario and the Canadian Championships Aug. 18, in Edmonton, Alberta.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Be dedicated and be consistent in your workouts. It's a lifestyle, and the progress takes time.
