My name is Amanda Eva also known as SweetCapri and I am a mom to two beautiful teenagers, Jamal, 16, and Stephanie, 14.

What began as a determination to get my body back into shape after my pregnancies turned into a journey to compete and get on stage. I have been competing and involved in the fitness industry since 2003. I have been honored to do well at my shows and place in the top five. My most recent win came at the 2012 Atlantic States Masters in the Figure Division.

I went to college to study Engineering, but that only lasted two years. I began gaining a passion for social interactions and writing. I ended up earning a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Student Development with a concentration in Social Justice Education.

Currently I wear many hats. I have my own wellness and fitness coaching practice and provide stage makeup services to many IFBB pros and amateur competitors. I currently serve as the Marketing and Public Relations Director for the Montanari Brothers Powerhouse Gym and the NPC Connecticut. Additionally, I assist with contest coverage for Flex Magazine.

Since my passion is writing, I have somehow managed to become the founder and editor a little website called MyFitWorld.com. I created it as a resource for women, and all the content is created and written by other women.

My future plans include publishing a book I've been writing for some time, as well as focusing on earning my Ph.D. in Psychology.

I am passionate about everything I do and I hope to continue to be a source of inspiration and empowerment to women.
