How Did You Get Started?
I got started lifting about four years ago when I wanted to be stronger for my freshman year of football. Then about 2 years ago a friend of mine wanted me to do a show with him that was held right here in Albuquerque. I said that I would do the show with him, and he took me to his nutritionist to get our diets started. My friend got sick and decided not to do the show, and the diet wasn't working for me, so I switched nutritionists. I lost contact with my friend after that. My new nutritionist put me on an even better diet, but by then I was 4 weeks away from the show and my BF levels wouldn't drop anymore.
I bagged it because I did not want to be embarrassed of my condition on stage. Ever since then I promised myself that the very next year I would do the show. The very next year I kept my promise, and I did some searching around and found my current nutritionist and mentor. His name is Lee Shaffer, and come to find out he is the promoter of all the natural shows here in Albuquerque. Lee Shaffer is the man! I got started with him, and ever since then he got me hooked on the science behind nutrition and the art of bodybuilding. This sport is addicting.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Currently I am working out MAX-OT style, which is AST's workout plan that worked for ALL NATURAL competitors Jeff Willet, who is now an IFBB Pro; and Skip LaCour, who has been 5x Team Universe Champion. You can also check the workout plan on http://ast-ss.com/. The plan changes every two weeks or so, but it currently goes like this:
- Mon- Legs
- Tues- Arms (Biceps, Triceps, & Forearms)
- Wed- Shoulders and Traps
- Thurs- Back
- Fri- Chest

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For Me?
My basic nutrition plan is also included in the MAX-OT workout plan. It is basically eat clean, eat a lot of protein, and eat about every 2-3 hours.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
The supplements right now are all AST supplements; they are VP2 Whey, Nytro-Pro 40, GL3, Creatine HSC, Micronized Creatine, Multi Pro 32x, R-ALA, NAC 500, and Trioxalon 500. I have tried supplements from other companies, but nothing compares to AST supplements. AST is by far the best company out there.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding because it is a sport that you can make or break yourself. Yes, there are people like sponsors, nutritionists, friends, & family that help you, but in the end it all depends on how bad you want it. It is a "self-oriented" sport. I also love the sport because you watch yourself go through the ups & downs, which I think makes you a stronger person. It builds character.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
I can't only give one tip, but since I am on the spot stay NATURAL, and know what you put in your body; know the side effects, if any, of the supplements you take. Always train hard and never give up. IT CAN BE DONE! Get in or get the f*ck out!

My favorite bodybuilders are Lee Shaffer, Jeff Willet, Skip LaCour, Lee Priest (under-rated as a pro), Dorian Yates, Jay Cutler, Markus Rhul (under-rated as a pro), and Kevin Levrone (under-rated as a pro).
