How Did You Get Started?
I have always been a fit and a health conscious person. From a small age I have loved sports. It wasn't until much older that I discovered the world of bodybuilding through my sister, Ruth. We began to go to all our local shows here in Miami and later flew out to see the Pros.
For the next few years I went to the Arnold in Columbus, Ohio and to the Olympia in Las Vegas, Nevada. Two of the most important shows when it comes to professional bodybuilding. Watching these extreme competitors made me sure that I wanted to compete as well. I began to get ready in August 05', it took hard work and a whole lot of dedication.
Between dieting, working out, cardio and the crankiness it wasn't exactly an easy preparation, but I got through. In October 05' I competed in the Florida Gold Cup; I entered as a Teen Figure and got First Place. Later I competed again in November 05' at the South Florida. This time I entered as a Teen Figure and in the Women's Open Figure Division, I got 1st in teens again and 2nd in the open. So far I have made a significant amount of gains and continue to work hard towards my next competition...
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I workout my bigger muscles alone and smaller muscles together so that I am always working out hard and focusing on each muscle properly. I don't have a set day for any specific muscle but here is how I break it up.

When getting ready for a competition I do cardio 5 times a week for 45 mins to an hour.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
Well since I compete, my diet is really strict. When my diet begins I have egg whites, oatmeal, chicken, brown rice, protein shakes, Crystal Light and steak. Towards the end of my diet all I am allowed to eat is Chicken or Extra Lean Turkey Ground Beef and Brown Rice (6 Meals a day).
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Eating every two and a half to three hours (diet food!) is what really made a difference for me. I used to work out a lot but only ate about once a day and therefore didn't see any improvements. My muscles didn't begin to grow until I was consistent with my diet.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love the sport. Both going to the gym and working out, competing myself and the pro aspect of it. I like to keep up with what's going on in the Professional world of bodybuilding. I'm not completely sure why I like it so much... It's just something really interesting and intriguing to me. Then of course the way working out and looking good makes me feel... Everyone likes that part.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I have qualified to compete in the Junior Nationals, in which I will compete in about a year. Meanwhile I plan to continue competing in local shows like the Southern States in July 06'.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Your food is the most important factor when it comes to changes in your body. I cannot stress enough how critical it is to follow your diet. Your results depend on it!
