How Did You Get Started?
It was around Christmas time and my 8th grade teacher gave my whole family Christmas stockings and in one of them was a Men's Fitness magazine. It had a 6 month personal training guide for a new body in the new millenium. It was a step-by-step program. Within the first 2 months I saw results and I was hooked!
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
The workout that worked best for me is the 6 on and 1 off.
Monday - Chest, Upper Back, and Calves
Tuesday - Legs
Wednesday - Abs, Traps, Forearms, and Calves
Thursday - Shoulders, Triceps, and Reverse Calves
Friday - Lower Back, Biceps and Donkeys with someone on my back for 100 reps
Saturday - Abs, Traps, Forearms and calves with one set of squats for 50 with
225, then one set of bench for 20 reps then one set of standing tricep pushdowns
Sunday - Off
I do this in a 3 week cycle - one week heavy to max out to see where I am with the weight, one week medium, and one week light for 15-20 reps.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Creatine and Ensure.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding because it motivates me to get up, to eat my meals, to push myself, to increase my weight and reps. I love the feeling of controlling what I look like and I know that people realize how hard I work to look like this. It's something money can't buy.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
My future bodybuilding plans are to keep going as far as I can possible go with competitive bodybuilding and to keep my joints healthy for the long road ahead. Who knows, maybe one day I'll turn pro.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Take one day at a time and try to keep your head on straight. The sport of bodybuilding is mental as well as physical, so you must keep focused.
