How Did You Get Started?
I've always watched wrestling shows with big jacked dudes. So I set in my mind that I wanted to be jacked for the rest of my life. I met my friend Eric which was already developed, this made me start my dream.
I basically started Bodybuilding in my local YMCA when I was 14 turning 15. It helped pass a lot of time by and boosted my self-confidence, and it started what I had always wanted to accomplish, BEING JACKED.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I've never really liked depending on other people for help or adivse (I'm a do-it myself type of person), so I decided to purchase "Arnold's Bible to Bodybuilding". It has helped me jump start my dream, with advise from training, nutrition, motivation and a lot of personal tips from the all time bodybuilder Arnold S.
My training split consists of:
Tuesday: shoulders, tris
I use alot of pryamids and supersets
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
I call my diet "The Seafood Diet", because I see food and I eat. I basically just try and consume all protein food such as tuna, steak, and a lot of eggs. Protein before and after I workout is a must. At night, I try and stay away from sugar and carbs because it will turn into a stored fat. Strict diet is key to success in bodybuilding.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Protein is my number one supplement. Followed by Liquid Amino acids, it gets you protein synthesis going making your body take in protein. I also drink a lot of protein shakes like Slim fast, Boost, and Ensure. Boost is my favorite.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
It teaches life lessons like discipline, dedication, motivation, effort, and patience. I find the fact that you are able to sculpt your body to whatever you want it to look like... AMAZING!
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I plan on competing in the near future.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
You can never learn too much; go out and purchase a good book on the subject you're trying to achieve. Also don't listen to what everyone else tells you, go by trial and error and see for yourself. As NIKE would say "JUST DO IT".
