Teen Bodybuilder of the Week: Kyle Taylor

Teen Bodybuilder of the Week: Kyle Taylor! - Pics and info and more!

How Did You Get Started?

I started lifting sophomore year of high school in my weight training class to get stronger for baseball. During that year I saw huge improvements in my strength and physique, and I became hooked. I ended up taking weight training every year for the rest of high school and joined my high school's powerlifting team my junior year. My senior year and I took 3rd in the 171-180 lbs weight class at the area meet and qualified for state.

I went on to play baseball in college at a small private school in Tennessee, but ended up not liking it there and transferred back closer to home. I had wanted to pursue bodybuilding for a while but couldn't due to baseball. Since, I was no longer playing baseball; I was free to begin giving 100% of my effort toward bodybuilding.
