How Did You Get Started?

I got started bodybuilding when I was 14 years old. I was extremely skinny, so my dad, a bodybuilder himself, encouraged me to begin training with him to gain some weight. Soon enough I began seeing significant muscle increase and it motivated me to continue. When I entered high school I was encouraged to go into the football and wrestling team due to my size. I was 152 lbs of muscle. In my senior year I began wrestling at 160lbs and began dominated the sport. Became district champion 2 years in a row, made 2nd in the regional's, and made it to States.

Upon graduating my mother, which is a competitive bodybuilder and has won the women over 30 in the southern States, superior, Miami sunshine classic and the overall in the South Florida, talked me into bodybuilding. I did my first show last year 2005 which was the superior, I won the teen overall and the men overall. Then I did the Miami and placed 1st also. In August I competed in Southern States and won the teen middleweight and the overall which qualified me for the nationals this year.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

*I workout heavy everyday even when I am competing for a show example:

I do 30 minutes of cardio everyday off-season and during competition I start off with 2 hours of cardio everyday until 4 weeks out. Then I cut down to 1 hour or I run 3-4 miles. First 2 miles jogging, 3rd mile sprinting and last mile doing lunges.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

I do high carbs for 3 days, low carbs for 2 days and no carbs for the last 2 days.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Creatinine and Glutamine

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

The reason I love this sport is because I enjoy seeing my body's transformation. This is something that only I can accomplish with my hard work and desire. I enjoy the standing on stage and having friends, family and even people I don't know scream out my name in astonishment of what limits I have taken my body. There is no greatest feeling.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

My goals are high but reachable. I will be flying to Pittsburg in July to compete in the teen nationals. My goal is to become a professional bodybuilder by the time I am 21. And I know that with my perseverance I will accomplish this pretty soon.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Take it from me, I was very skinny and I look like this now - Anything is possible. All you need is the desire and the motivation. Gains are not accomplished overnight, however, with dedication they are accomplished. Don't ever give up and follow your dream. Whatever your goal may be. Whether it may be losing weight or gaining muscle, everything takes time but only the willingness will get you there.
