I've been using this belt for heavy squats and deadlifts for a little over a year now. I only use a belt when lifting heavy weights (usually anything over 4 plates). The belt worked as intended until recently when, like several other reviews have said, the Velcro began wearing out. I've put on a little weight recently, but I still have 5-6" of contact on the Velcro and it has been stripping off. Not something you want to happen when you're at the bottom of a squat with 500+ lbs on your back..Overall, you get what you pay for with this belt. For ~$15 I guess you could justify buying a new one every year to year and a half.

The velcro system quit working after about 20 uses. It won't hold any longer. Great size, but just not durable.

This belt works great for squats. It's priced cheap and so far has become my favorite one to use. I like the velcro design and the comfortability a lot. No problems since I've bought it. Easy to clean also.

I had this belt for only six months and the velcro is completely worn out. I know it is not an expensive belt, but it should still last longer than that...crap quality. Not recommended. Buy something else... I am in the process of trying to find another as well...
