Although the feeling and effect of Forge's Adipokinetix is at least as good as the original, the formula has changed in significant ways. The old Adipokinetix was formulated around 1R,2S norephedrine while the new Adipokinetix is formulated around norphenefrine. Norphenefrine is an adrenaline-like amine that naturally occurs in the human body. We consider this ingredient the par excellance of fat burning ingredients and is unmatched in its effect and potency. Like 1R,2S norephedrine, it has been shown in studies to activate specific adrenergic receptors which powerfully mobilize and burn fat.

We have also added caffeine but not the cheap, typical, run-of-the-mill caffeine that is so commonly used. We developed an entirely new caffeine molecule called dicaffeine malate. This buffered caffeine salt is not only more gentle on the stomach but is also more effective due to the shuttling effect of the malate ion as well as its positive effects on energy replenishment. Like the original Adipokinetix formula, we decided to continue to use Yohimbine HCL. A tried and tested dietary supplement, Yohimbine HCL assists in the mobilization of fatty acids and works specifically with norphenephrine to target those hard-to-lose fatty areas like the midsection, hips, and thighs. Finally, we added modest amounts of phenethylamine, green tea extract, bergenin, velvet bean extract and synephrine to round out the formula and provide the energy and fat burning capability of a world class fat burner.
