Has any1 got any results from using this? And is it good for a 16 yr old to gain mass?
By KockDiesel on Sunday, February 13, 2000 - 10:12 am: Edit
Yes, if your looking to pack on mass, no if you are looking to slim down. Since you want to pack on mass, then it would work excelent for you. Save a good amount of money and buy the biggest tub, 5lbs I think. It will be worth your money. It just seems for me, probally not for everyone, it worked the best the first time I used it. My theroy really makes no sense, just how It was for me I guess. Email me if you have any questions about it.

As i have stated before in various posts, n large is very good. not only does it taste great (the best i have ever tried) but it is is loaded with the important muscle building nutrients. The largest tub is 10lb's. Chocolate is the best flavour

I think all prolab whey's taste amazing.
I order the N-Large-2 last time, and this time I have 100% Whey. They taste great.
I actually enjoy drinking them.

If you use it once and gain mass and then stop using it after you finish a tub, will you keep your gains??

What kind of results did you see after using it? And how long before you can expect to see results?
By ian on Monday, February 14, 2000 - 02:28 pm: Edit
anon,
yes - as long as you continue to train hard and eat well. Don't expect to put on huge amounts of mass in a small time using n large - it just won't happen. It should be used as a meal replacement to keep your body in an anabolic state that will optimise growth. Taking nlarge is just like eating another meal, although meals in liquid form are easier to digest than solid foods.
This is why liquid meals are favoured immediatley afer a workout.

I've been told that most of the weight that you gain while taking this stuff is mostly fat. And if I were to buy a 10 pound tub of this stuff how much weight will I be expected to gain?
By ian on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 - 10:31 pm: Edit
anon,
There is no set amount that you will gain from a 10lb tub. Taking Nlarge or any weight gainer for that matter is like eating an extra meal. It is not some mirracle formula that will make you massive.
Use it whenever you feel the need for calories, or do what i do and eat three large meals per day (supplemented with prolabs 100% whey) and take three HALF serving;s of Nlarge.
E:MAIL me if you have any more questions.

EVERYTHING YOU EAT WILL TURN INTO FAT.
If you eat fat, well, it's already fat.
If you eat carbohyrates, it will turn into fat.
Everything will.
It's the fact that you burn the fat is the key.
By taking one or two serving a day and not use it for weight lifting, or simply gaining mass, yes you will get fat.
Good luck,
JC

Would it be better to buy 100% WHey or N Large2?
Which would be better to gain mass?
And is it good to use creatine with N Large?
By MassMonster on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 - 08:20 pm: Edit
what do you think? they're both by the same company and one is called n-LARGE. which do you think is the one that will make you LARGEr.
and no to the other question. taking creatine with n-large or any other protien powder will kill you. It almost as bad as taking vitamin C and vitamin b6. be careful!

R u for real?

Anon-
He's full of shit, don't listen to him. Using creatine and protein is a good stack and you will see good results as long as you lift hard and take plenty of protein. The only thing: don't take creatine and protien at the exact same time. This will block receptor sites in your muscles and they'll either get one or the other. Take creatine and protein at different times throughout the day and you'll be fine.

Good thread vince, you are correct.
It is best to take creatine as soon as your workout is finished, your muscle has used a good portion of your stored creatine and is hungry for more. Take your protien shake within the next 40minutes after the creatine to insure optimum ingestion. This has worked very well for me. Timing is crutial when replenishing your creatine. If it is a rest day, take your creatine on an empty stomach atleast a half hour before one of your regular meals.

How many servings are in the 10lb container of NLarge 2 (including grams per serving)? This studd is pretty damn cheap if I can get a 10 lb. container for 37 bucks.
