any multi you buy from a drug store has the same if not more potency than a commercial "bodybuilding" multi vitamin... dont waste your money, buy centrum or anything equivalent to that.

yeah, but you need to take 3-5 centrums aday to equal the amount you get in a good multi. I too take generics, but i take 4 aday, which pretty much is the same price id pay for a brand name

2 is enough.... once in the morning and once before you go to sleep... unless you're training for mr. o or are over 250 lbs, you dont need any more than that

Don't be fooled - many vitamin companies don't meet their label claims... few do on a consistant basis... Some vitamin companies even coat their vitamins with 'shellac' .. (I toured one company and actually have a piece of the shellac overspray. uuuggghhh.) Colgan Insitiute for Nutrition does true 'Independant' testing. The Colgan Institute just published a new book... the Power Program... check it out...

Get the best multivitamin available from the largest vitamin and oldest vitamin company in the US, Namely, Double X from Nutrilite. Check it out. It blows the others away. The other crap doesnt do anything other than sit in your gut and come out the other end. If you don't believe me, take a Double X put it in a little vinegar(similar to stomach acid) and then try it with an off the shelf brand. In about 2 Min the Double X "explodes" and the other crap will just sit there like a rock. Which one do you want to take? Hmmmm?

On another note, your digestive system can only absorb so much at one time, so make sure you invest in a time released vitamin so it takes time to break down and doesn't flood your intenstines with minerals and vitamins so fast that they can't be absorbed. A good test for checking the potency and time release is putting the capsule in a little vinegar (simular to stomach acid). If it "explodes" after about 2 minutes you might wanna find a new vitamin. Make sure it at least sits there like a rock and you will know what one to take. Hmmmm?
