I want a recipe for a good weight gaining shake. If anyone knows a good recipe, or where I can find some, please post a message or email me. I appreciate it.

Put it in a blender along with a banana and mix. Simple as that.

Although I've heard that Prolab makes a good weight gain formula called N-Large II.

My friend was telling me about a shake that had yogurt, protein powder, raw eggs, fruit, along with some other stuff. I was just wondering if anyone has some more recipes they think work really well. I want something with a lot of protein, and tastes good.
Thanks

or you could do it like me and just swallow powder in your mouth with water like you would do with a pill. saves stomach space.

OK then:

4 large Egg whites(raw).
8oz of Skim Milk.
1 banana.
1 generous squirt of chocolate syrup.
At this point, you can just start throwing shit in there such as peanut butter, more fruit, ice cream, yogurt, etc.
Mix in a blender and there you go.

With this combination you get:
Around 30 grams of protein.
Vitamin A&D, potassium, etc.
Pretty low carbs.
Not a bad taste either.

HEYGUYS only one problem with your shake do not ever use raw eggs!!!!!!! Unless you want to take the chance of a bad case of Salmenilla (spelled Right?) If you get it you will lose a ton of weight right in the toilet.

By Nate on Tuesday, February 22, 2000 - 08:54 am: Edit

True true. Though that usually only happens when the egg goes bad. I know someone that has been eating raw eggs for quite a while, and hes never gotten sick. The moral of the story is: DO NOT EAT THE ROTTEN EGGS!

The above statment is not based on fact. It's more or less, based on experience. Just like to clarify that. I suppose that any egg could contain salmenilla.

You guys are forgetting one thing. The avidin in
the egg destroys your BIOTIN which is responsible
for your hair. Unless you want to look like a cue
ball, cook your eggs for at least 90 seconds.
This will eliminate the avidin. Believe me, this
stuff will make your hair fall out faster than shit through a goose.

I've never heard of Avidin, I eat 6 raw egg whites a day and don't have any problem with my hair. Maybe it's in the yolks? In any case, if you're worried about salmonella I learned in my pathogenic bacteriology class that all you have to do is wash the eggs first and only eat the whites (which is where all the protein is ayway). There is lysozyme naturally present in egg whites that kills bacteria, so the whites are essentially sterile.
