yeah..i got one for you...eat more...at your age your t and gh levels are almost as high as some one who is juicing...try eating 6 meals per day, each one containing around 600-700 calories..a good weight gainer like n large 2 will help you w. this too..train right, rest alot, and you'll see results

You wont find any NATURAL supplement more effective than creatine. Of course, training right and eating enough comes as number one. When this is covered USE CREATINE. After the loading phase, use 5-10 gr. a day. Be sure to take some before and after training. The clue is to get as much creatine transported into your muscles as possible. To do this you've got to get your insulin up. Be aware that during training, your insulin rises, and the nutritional transport ability in your body raises with about 4 times normal. This lasts about 2 hours after you finish your training. Take advantage of this, and have a high protein /high carb (50gr.prot/50gr carb) right after training, then 1 to 1,5 h. later have another high prot/high carb meal.
AND, dont train your body more than once a week. I know you want to train like a mad man for hours a day to pack on size, but this is NOT the way to go. Your sessions should last for approx. 1 hour. anything longer is wasting your time. Remember, the pros you read about with 2 hour sessions and 20 sets chest are on some SERIOUS juice. This is not the way to train when you're natural.
You may choose to do a 3, 4 or 5 split. I would suggest a four split, training on mon/tue/thu/fri. Take the rest of the time OFF. But keep eating.
I guarantee you you'll pack on some serious size after a couple of months with this approach.
And remember, drink ALOT of water. Get AT LEAST a gallon a day. Aim for one and a half.
Good luck!

You need to work your legs because the body is designed to stop growing after a certain amount of asymmetry takes place. IN other words, you can't just lift chest and arms and expect to get huge, because you've left your legs behind. WOrk your legs just as hard and you'll put on the extra pounds. As for creatine, don't take it. It's a waste of money. Eat about 5 meals a day all about 2 hours apart from each other and take the protein in between and right AFTER you workout. Peace.

i agree with big red( once again), that you need to eat more. BIG THING--- eat smart!!! eat whole foods and not proccessed foods. if you dont want to take creatine, i would suggest glutamine. twin labs makes a great glutamine powder. twinlabs will be 40% off on gold card day at GNC in january.

I am 16 years old.I started training in the summer for hockey. I have been taking creatine along with protein drinks and can consistently expect 6 pounds a month although i often miss workouts and meals. That may not sound like good progress to the newbie but at 6 pounds a month it would be 72lbs a year.the gains won't keep coming this good but i hope you get the idea what a good effort to gain can bring.remember the importance of protein but do not assume that you need creatine because your body is producing enough natrally.Good luck!

SECRET TO PUTTING ON 50 LBS. OF MASS IN 1 YEAR
Eat 6 meals a day (6am 9am 12pm 3 pm 6pm 9pm)consisting of regular bodybuilding foods (meat, potatoes, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, water )
1. Eat each meal until you are full.
2. then add one of my "magic Shakes" immediately after each meal.
Magic shake = 2 cups milk + 1 can tuna in a blender mixed up
Each shake has @50 grams protein and is about 420 calories. Drink one after each meal and you add 300 grams of protein to an already good diet. I am 23 years old and lift naturally and couldn't get past my sticking point weight of about 188-190 lbs at 5'10. Since drinking these shakes for 1 month I put on 23 lbs. of muscle and am keeping it on and expect to keep the weight coming. My strength is going through the roof!!! For all you younger guys I know how hard it is to want to be huge with little $ so go to a wholesale club and buy a case of tuna (36 cans case) for about $18. Get 2 cases a week = $36. This is cheaper than buying all those bullshit supplements. Try to work on weekends to make $ to cover this cost and you will get huge fast. I can't believe it is this easy. P.S. to all fake message board posters KEEP IT REAL! A lot of kids take this to HEART!
I am sending in my pic on this website for all you disbelievers to shut your mouths up.Follow this program , because I honestly believe it is the best one devised, I figure that you guys know that you need to lift heavy infrequently and get plenty of rest as well. Also, don't go out everynite with your friends, Keep it to sat or Fri nights and get rest during the week. It'll help you grow so when summer comes by all your friends will start bitching that all the girls want to go out with you and not them!!!

P.s.I JUST POSTED THE 50 LBS IN 1 YEAR FOOD DIET.
i WROTE THAT HEADLINE TO GET EVERYONE'S ATTENTION! I am not sure how much mass you can expect in 1 year but I figure you can 't keep gaining 20+ lbs. a month. this really does work though so try it! Also, the tunashakes taste like shit but if you are serious about getting big show some SAC and drink them down quick to avoid the taste!

CALORIES, CALORIES, CALORIES. Get A lot from carbs, enough protein, and fat. BTW, Gaining the muscle, and losing fat will be almost impossible. Put it this way, if you want to gain MASS, you will also have to gain some fat. If you don't want the fat, you won't gain MASS.

Hi. I’m 16 yrs old. I just had an operation on my shoulder due to chronic dislocation. I Have already lost over 10 #s in 1 week. I was a solid 182 but now, 167. I’m out of lifting for 2 months, but that leaves me w/ only 3 months till football season. Iwanted to be at least 190-195 this yr.. B4 my surgery I became 160-182 in 2 mon. . off of cell tech, gnc’s 2200 gold, and eas "simply protein". What kind of routine would u recommend after rehabiliation? Suplements? For now I walk for 1 hour and do leg ext.,curl, and calf raises. I take 2 met-rx a day. Since I can only do my legs, Im gonna try and put as much mass as I can until I can work my upper body. Please help me.
Thanks for all your help,
Chad

Food, and more food. Then top it off with a weight gainer. CALORIES=MASS.
Oh, YOU CAN'T GAIN MASS WITHOUT GAINING SOME FAT.
Expect your bf% to go up. That's the way it is. Either you have to except the fat, or don't train.
I went from 9%-11% after gaining around 15lbs
You WILL gain fat.
You basically need a diet consisting of 65% carbs, 15% protein, and 20% fat.
Tip: Add canola oil to your weight gainer. 2Tbl spoons= 240cal. Unsaturated fat....
As far as calories go, my guess is you need
3,315 a day to gain 1lb per week. I typed in your weight, and then figured you wanted to weigh 180lbs. You "calorie expenditure" for the day was 2,815 per day (what you use). Assuming all of this, it will take you 20 weeks, or 5 months to hit 180lbs. This is for these activities below.
1hr of lifting a day 1hr of driving 6hrs of sitting 2hrs of watching TV 1hr of eating and the rest sleep. If you are more active than this, and play sports, expect the calories to go up even more.
If you add 1hr of basketball in there, You will now need 3,867 calories a day. So the less activities you can do a day will make it easier. Just remember the more you do, the more calories you burn.

The biggest thing is nutrition. Like Big Red said and others, you have to eat, bottom line. You can workout hard all you want and take all the supplements you want but won't gain unless you eat right. You have to have the right balance of proteins, carbs and fats to gain. Depending on your metabolism, caloric output, metabolism and a bunch of others, you may have to ingest anywhere from 3000 to 5000 calories a day and sometimes even more. You may have to eat upto 7 -8 meals a day. Eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Eat quality foods. After you mastered this, then use supplements such as creatine.
Remember to stay focused, be in controll and stay drug free.

hey,im not a into bodybuilding, but my boy friend is on the football team in Highschool, and is really looking to Bulk up before next year, he was taking Creatine, but after careful research I decided it wasn't safe for him. IF anyone knows any harmful side effects to Fitmagnet,Ripped Fuel,or Glutamine please w/b. oh yeah, be sure to include the safest most effective alternative to any of these products.
concerned,age16,M.D
| By fitforlife ( - 216.236.21.234) on Friday, February 23, 2001 - 06:30 am: Edit |
Creatine, taken between 2-10g a day is not harmful. Creatine is composed of 3 amino acids.
Ripped fuel can be harmful if you over do it, or have medical problems; high blood pressure, Asthma, taking a MAOI, or other things. If taken as directed, and you don't consume extra caffein, and cold medicines you should be ok. If you are a healthy person you should have no problems with it.
Glutamine is safe. Glutamine is a nonessential amino acid, and is synthesized in the body. Meaning the body can produce it, and does not have to get it from another source. I don't think it will help as far as bulking up though.
If you are looking for a good bulking stack, try a weight gainer, some liver tabs, and maybe 1-2 vitamins per day, and LOTS of food. Especially milk, eggs, tuna, peanut butter, etc.
The products you listed are probably the safest. I don't know what fitmagnet is. If I had to get rid of one, I would ditch the ripped fuel. I wouldn't take it on a bulking phase either. But later if you are still scared, get the ripped fuel, or the more potent diet fuel WITHOUT EPHEDRA, if that is what you are concerned about.
I don't know where you did your research, but it was bad info.... And remember, tell him to get an adequate amount of SLEEP.

to anyone looking to gain muscle: forget the hormones. the gains are not worth sacrificing your health. i have never tried them and never will but i have seen excellent gains by combining intelligent training with proper nutrition. natural bodybuilding takes time and patience and if you're a hardgainer, eat, eat, train hard, and eat.

I just turned 18, I have been lifting for about 3 years, but one year hardcore and correctly. I am 6'2" 230 with body fat around 9% my arms are 18 1/2 in. 48 in chest...29 in thighs. I'm definatly the biggest person in my school, and everyday I get compliments by people. I have put on about 30 lbs of solid mass in about 4 months with the recommendations I am going to give with my bodyfat not changing much. I would say that I am geneticly gifted, but you too can get what you want. All you teens who want to get so called "huge" there are a few things you need to do..like others said,Get your 6 meals a day..with extra protien than you think about 2.5-3grams carbs per pound, 1.5-2grams protien. 2nd consistency with your training and train HARD. I would recomend 5 days a week, no longer than an hour-hour fifteen each time. If you go longer you can do more damage than good for your gains. Be sure to get good sleep, I know being a teen with school and friends, its hard, but if you really want this you'll do it. I have only taken creatine once a long time ago and not when I made my great gains so stay away from that. The best thing to try for supplements would be glutamine, ZMA, and Tribex 500.(which is tribbulus, and helps raise natural test without side effects) also be sure to get your vitamins, such as amino fatty acids, calcium, multis. Also read as much as you can about the sport, with someone just telling you what to do its not as good as you knowing for yourself. Bodybuilding is also a mental thing, you must have a strong mind full of knowledge to get great gains. That is all I can think about right now to say...I am always trying to help people at my school with their progress, I love the sport..so feel free to e-mail me with questions or comments that you may have.

thanks to those who put good effort in their posts i have learned a lot...I am 16 yrs old 6'1 200lbs wanting to build mass got a few months till football ...My main question is which is better training like 2 muscle groups at a time like chest and triceps and working them really hard like once a wk and then back biceps one day legs other and then shoulders OR by working your whole upperbody 2 / wk and then legs 2 / wk...so basically which would you expect more gains lifting a muscle really hard once a wk ... or lifting that muscle 2/ wk and not doing as many specific exercises?

Help guys, we are constantly bombarded with these damn advertisements in the muscle mags. Do we really need all these supplements to get big? Being a teenager 19 5'10'' 185 lbs. I cant afford all of it. Will taking 1g of protein per pound of body weight and training hard get me more muscled up? I used to be fat, and about 200 lbs. now I have gotten a lot slimmer since I started training a year ago. Everyone says eat more but Im so afraid of getting fat again. If you take in more calories than you burn, you will get fat, right?

dude, just follow what everyone else has been saying. eat 6-7 meals a day, each meal around 500-700 calories. Eat LOTS of rice, potatoes, chicken, lean beef, tuna, ect. eat clean foods. no junk food. try to get 1 gallon of water or more in in a day. The key to getting big is to eat. it's 80% eating and 20% working out. dont make the mistake of using supplements but not eating enough. stuff yourself each meal. Get 8-10 hours of sleep a night.
for your training routine try one of the following
monday: Back/Biceps
teusday:Legs
wednesday:Chest/Triceps
thursday:Rest
friday:Delts/Traps/forearms
saturday:Legs
sunday:Rest
monday -Chest/biceps
teusday -Legs
wednesday -Back/triceps
thursday - Rest
friday - delts/traps/forearms
saturday -Rest
sunday -Legs
if you have trouble growing, switch it up.
