What is a good Body Fat Percentage?

I was just wondering what a good goal would be to get to in terms of body fat percentage... Right now I'm at about 11%.

well, just to put things in perspective for you. Ronnie Coleman, 3 time olympiad winner, has 5% bf when he is bulking, and he says that it has been as low as .33%. this isnt really health, i would aim for 4 to 6%.

There is no way anyone can get down to .33% bf. anything below 3% is dangerous to the body. I would also think that his bf% would be much more than 5% when he is bulking.

A good bf% would be about 6-8%.

3% body fat means that you have absolutely no fat between your skin and muscles...the only fat you have is protecting your organs...this is really unhealthy...for guys between 6-10 is good and for girls around 10-15
5% when bulking...thats almost on stage body fat...how is one who takes as much drugs as he gonna make gains while trying to stay that lean...theres no way he could ingest that little cals, stay that lean, and yet make roid like gains

a good offseason bodyfat percentage is 10-15. contest would be about 2-5. i agree with big red. 3 is very unhealthy. plus if your bigger and carry more mass, its harder to cut up and you wont be as "shredded" as lighter bodybuilders. so a tip would be dont compare yourself to others. hope i could of helped. if your not bodybuilding then i would say a good bodyfat percentage to keep fit would be 8-12. that where most good athletes are at. email me if you have any questions

I think that a 87% body fat percentage is ideal. And you ask yourself, "How do you get such an incredible percentage?" Well, let me tell you; eat lots of donuts and chocolate cream pie. How do you test your percentage of body fat? Take a pair or rusty pliers and grab all that fat. Multiply the rust marks on your fat and divide by your age. Then get the inverse relation and multiply that by the standard deviation of the your former hypothesis. Thank you.
