i think for the price its crap.read the label they use crappy protiens such as casien(yes i know theres whey in it but they still use casien also)i would buy a good protien powder instead you can get prolab whey for much cheaper then that myoplex crap.

After you drink a myoplex mass your stomach thinks you just swallowed a WNBA sized basketball, it feels like you mixed half and half with flour. To sum it up Myoplex Mass is a crock of S**T.

I agree. Myoplex is too thick and grose. Have you ever seen the dried residue left over in your glass? I looks pretty scary. Then think about it traveling thru your digestive system. Yuck! I also agree that it's a rip-off! And that stupid Body for Life program tries to sell it like it's great or something.

i like the taste of regular myoplex...and casien is put in to make it a more complete protien...the casien takes longer to absorb staying in your stomach longer...rather than flying through and only partially being digested...but it is expensive...so... im gonna make my own mrps...buy some whey and some maltodextrin...mix the two together...buy a realy cheap multi (maybe a generic one a day), and you have a mrp...for a fraction of the cost

PZA what kind of retard are you. Casein is in Mesotech, Labrada, AST and all other companies protein powders. Casein is a very good protein. But YOU are a dumb piece of shit.

im a retard try reading a book once in a while you anon moron, casien has a biovaliblity of around 78,a freaking egg(whole)is a 100,whey isolate is around 140.so moron feel stupid yet,also casien is what gets you bloated as for the myoplex being thick its because they add a gum for thickness.this product is garbage just like anon above.as for it being in those other products anything from muscletech is a god damn joke.the protien i use has none(nytro whey and methoxy-pro)so stay in school anon maybe you'll past 5 grade this time around asshole.

I'll offer a different perspective on this supplement. Myoplex Mass would be a good post workout supplement for someone who doesn't like to eat food after a workout. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to puke after a workout and the last thing I want to do is eat whole foods. Big Red had a good suggestion in making your own MRP, it is a hell of a lot cheaper. However,if you don't want to make your own, I'd recommend Prolab's N-Large 2 over Myoplex Mass. I believe it's all whey protein and it has about half the amount of sugar that Myoplex Mass has!

First off...mesotech is crap...ive tasted it, and it sucks...next...as far as they are claiming "10 grams of GLUTAMINE and glutamic acid per serving"...that is a joke...glutamine and glutamic acid are totally different aminos...if you've ever looked at the breakdown of aminos in a regular whey powder (say, prolab's 5lb) there are 4 grams of glutamic acid per 22gm of protien...there fore since mesotech suposevedly uses ion exchange...there should be even more...that means that they add hardly any GLUTAMINE to thier product at all...if you're buying from a reputable company and reading the lables...you can save alot of money doing things for your self...
next off...you need a high glycemic carb right after a work out...why do you think cell-tech works so good...its the dextrose...as i said in a previous post, when you buy cell-tech your paying around 3/4 the price for dextrose (sugar) alone...i can get 10lbs of dextrose for like 20 bucks...chromium and alpha lipoic acid isnt that doesnt make up for the cost either so looks like all you muscle tech users are gettin ripped off...
and as for casien...like i said above, it stays in your gut for 8 hours at most, allowing more to be absorbed...whey stays in for a very short time...that is why you take it after you work out, it is easily abosorbed and little is lost, where as if you take it as a meal, less is absorbed because it passes through so fast...hence complete protien is a mixture...
just thought id shine some light on the subject

buy pure whey and mix it with milk you'll get enough casien in the milk to slow down the absorbtion process but dont buy a product from company that puts casien in there protien because its alot cheaper for them and they still charge what you could be getting from good quality whey.also if casien is before whey in the ingrediants that meens theres more crappy casien then good whey.
