Hi all,
I cannot find a decent mailing list on bodybuilding or weight lifting and message boards are great but hard to get immediate feedback. You have to keep checking back. If you join a mailing list, you can get quick responses by e-mail. I don't know how to promote the group except by posting on message boards. If you want to join, it is totally free and you can stop the mail at any time.
I created the list/group at www.egroups.com There is a list for power and olympic lifting but nothing on general weight training and/or body building so I decided to try and start one.
If you are not already a member of e-groups, you have to register, then you can join as many groups as you want. You can find mine at

Please join and let's see if we can build a community of like minded people. It is a public list so anyone can join but you must be a member to post messages and answer them. As for now it is unmoderated and rated for all ages. As long as no one gets crazy, I will keep it that way. I would also like to keep away from the steroid issue. That is a personal choice and do not want it to become a list advocating controlled substances.
Tell other gym rats about the list as well and over time perhaps we can make something cool here. That is what I am hoping for anyhow.
