I was wondering if I should take ribose with my creatine prior to working out. I know you need to take creatine with sugar, and some have suggested grape juce. Then others have told me grape juice is not the best bet: taking 50 grams of carbs and 50 grams of protein 30 minutes after taking creatine helps max. absorbtion. But what do you acutally take the creatine with?!! Please help.

Try grapeFRUIT juice, NOT grape juice. Studies
have shown that it can multiply the effect of
certain drugs by 4 - 9 times. I have, and so for
I have seen MUCH better results.

Casanova - I read in Dr Colgans book "Creatine for Muscle and Strength" that Grapefruit juice should be used.. but have not tried it yet as opposed to grape juice.. did you do grape juice before switching and notice a definate difference - did you reload at all ? You using it with straight creatine - or a mix (like Betagen or whatever that has enhancers in it)
