I use milk or water for my N-large. It depends on how much milk I already drank for the day. If it wasn't a lot I will use milk. Some people use pineapple juice or orange juice, but I don't like mixing them with my gainer.
If you don't like any of those, you are SOL, and better get used to it.
BTW what supps do you have??

Milk, always. Maybe look for a shake with less sugar in it, they have less taste.
Question for fitforlife : what do you have against milk ? How can you drink too much in a day ? I got big on that stuff and still strive to drink more every day. A liter provides 32 g of protein , a balanced mix of whey and casein that fortify each's effect (it slows whey absorption and makes casein more available) it contains large doses of calcium which increase and strengthen bone-growth, improves weight loss (guess you hadn't thought of that) and improves immunity of the system. All 48 g of carbs are lactose, a sugar that almost never turns to fat. 15 percent is fat, essential fat that upgrades hormone receptors and metabolizes Vitamin D to make more testosteron. Its a balanced mix of the perfect diet (50 pecrent carbs , 35 percent protein 15 percent fat at 460 calories) its a perfect meal. If its good enough for babies to grow on, its good enough for you. I went from 8 lbs to 90 lbs on milk and after that I went from 153 to 218 on milk and other things. My bodyfat in competition is below 3 percent so don't give me the fat crap. I really want to know what your beef with milk is man, you are robbing people of the single most effective supplement out there.

Big Cat,
What kind of milk do you drink? Whole,2%,1% or Skim? I've switched over to Skim for mixing my MRP's with, and 2% for drinking with meals.
I'm currently 6' 192lbs w/ 10% bf and trying to put on a few more quality lbs before summer. Would I benefit anymore from one over the other?
Thanks

No, I drink milk all of the time, but I don't think 2 gallons (if one can drink that) Is necessary. And no, the fat isn't a problem. I mean If you get all of your calcium, vit D, protein, carbs, what ever, why keep piling on the milk? What I have agains milk is that there are 5 people in my family, and milk is too damn expensive. 2.69-2.99 a gallon. Now compute that times 5 people, per day. Lets say 3 gallons a day if I drink it like a pig. $9.00 a day for milk! I don't think so. I get what milk I need, and get the rest of my nutrients from other sources of food. And I guarantee I get more than enough from the other foods. If I am low on protein, or calories for the day, I might drink 16oz at night or something loke that, but I don't drink it like it is going out of style.....

You should though, its killer. I guess you either don't work, or you are the only provider, yes ? I get by on my college allowance to buy that stuff and that ain't much. I spend all my money on food, I never go out any more, but that's what I sacrifice for my sport. Besides, how much calcium would you take if not from milk, its been shown that a 200-pound bodybuilder needs at least 2.5 times the amount the FDA recommends. i forgot to mention that milk also contains trace amounts of lactoferrin, a prime anti-oxydant and cancer-risk-reducer. I see your point though, if you can't afford it ..., but still, I get the feeling you wouldn't even if you could.
Ronnie, I drink 2 percent all the time, I try whole sometimes but the calories are too much to handle ( 40 percent fats ) I'd stick with 2 percent because its like a complete meal, but if you are trying to cut up, I can see the use of skim. I don't , but I have a really good metabolism, so I don't have too.
