Well, trying to find a perfect, and high quality protein might make you go insane, because EVERY company claims that their protein is the best.
If their is one person who I would listen to as far as protein, would be Alex Rogers, who is the owner of the protein factory. This guy is very very smart, and will spit out the truth.
1. Not one company has the "best" protein
2. In the real world, the products are basically all the same. Whey concentrate, whey isolate, hydrolyzed whey, and that is it.
3. You can mix different percentages, and add ingredients like glutamine, or whatever to formulate a higher quality protein, etc.)
4. There are basically 3 ways to manufacture whey protein: ion-exchanged, microiltration, and ultrafiltration. There are diff. stages to each one.
Concentration makes the protein 35%-85% protein, and isolation must be above 90%.
Precision Protein from EAS
and
Isopure are the ones he liked, but he didn't name many others.
Honestly if you are now really confused, I would just by a protein that doesn't have a list of 50 different ingredients, and a fully page of mumbo jumbo on the back that you won't understand.
I also suggest Prolabs 100% pure whey (It isn't 100%) but it is high quality with glutamine peptides added, and the flavoring, and that is about it. This is one of the best all around proteins as far as servings, price, taste, ingredients, and quality.
Cytosports whey protein is also a good one. Only 18g per scoop, but again not a lot of BS with their product.
Sportpharma's Pure Whey is also good, and cheap.
That should do it. Hope this helps some...

N-Large is good. I have used it, but remember, it is a WEIGHT GAINER, not just a protein powder. It also contains sugar in it. Quite a bit, but besides that, the stuff is great. If you just want protein, N-large isn't the way to go. If you want a weight gainer, go for it. It takes 4 scoops to get 50g of protein. And for most proteins on the market, 2.5 scoops will give you 50g. It just depends on what you are using it for....
