shut the fuck up guys

By Anonymous on Tuesday, November 23, 1999 - 11:45 pm: Edit

And you should really listen to a guy who refers to himself as nutsacker.

By the way, if your acne is really bad, you should see a dermatologist.

I can't agree with the oxy 10 statement, it gave me acne worse than I had it before I started using it. What worked good for me is clearasil.

GO to the doctors, not nessaceraly dermotologist, they can prescribe you some RETIAN A (i thinks its how its spelled) and some other thing to use while using retain a. retain a brings out the acne, and the other shit (forgot the name) dries it all up. if you cant get it prescribed (you should if you have it on you back, face bad, chest ect; should be no prob to get it) then look for it on the black market. kinda expensive shit, maybe $35-45 american on the Blackmarket

Try this:
take 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1 tbsp fluoride toothpaste(brand doesn't matter as long as it has fluoride), 4 capfulls of hydrogen peroxide and mix in a bowl. Apply paste to affected areas and leave for 10 minutes. Do this twice a day and your acne will clear up in no time.

Piss and shit in a blender, mix it up! And apply onto your acne. Works for me!

By Anonymous on Tuesday, November 30, 1999 - 11:49 pm: Edit

How about you give up the Anadrol.

By Anonymous on Sunday, February 13, 2000 - 10:21 am: Edit

Hey, different things give different results for people. If you use retin-a, which i have, ya, it'll bring it to the surface, ya, it'll dry up your skin, but that's not effective, wasn't for me. You have stop them first, cause they'll always come to the surface, your hormones aren't balanced, and your body is full of toxins, eat well, and wash your face normally, use a little of B. Peroxide and that's all. If you want to take antibiotics, hey, it'll help, but you can't take them forever, putting stuff only on the surface won't do much people, especially if you have dry skin!

LISTEN FOOLS.
TO FIGHT ACNE.(NO JOKE)
1. SHOWER EVERYDAY. DONT SCRUB YOUR SKIN HARD IT MAKES IT WORSE.
2.DRINK LOADS OF WATER EVERY DAY. THROUGHT THE DAY.
3. TAKE VITAMIN C SUPPLEMENTS FOR 500MG A DAY.
4.USE AN ANTI BACTERIAL FACE WASH FOR YOUR FACE.(OBVIOUSLY)
5.TRY, TRY TRYNOT TO SQUEEZE THEM. THEY WILL COME BACK WITH A VENGANCE, BIGGER, AND LEAVE YOU WITH A SCAR.
DONT EAT RUBBISH LIKE CHOCOLATE, OR HORRIBLE FATTY STICKY FOODS. EAT HEALTHY. TRY NOT TO SMOKE, VARIETY OF REASONS, AND DONT DRINK.(BOTH ROB ODY OF IMMUNE BENIFITING NUTRIENTS)

6.IF YOUR REALLY REALLY BAD, THE DOCTOR CAN PERSCRIBE YOU SOMETHING, WHICH COMBINED WITH THE ABOVE REALLY HELPS.

I DIDNT HAVE IT BAD, AS U GUYS, BUT THE ABOVE CLEARED ME UP. BASICALY, WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR BODY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT, AND BE PATIENT!

By TitanIron ( - 24.95.142.189) on Wednesday, July 05, 2000 - 09:10 am: Edit

ya see, there are two things that cause acne, 1.Bacteria, and 2. Testosterone. Now, I had the bacterial acne when I was younger and the doctor gave me tetracyclene and it cleared up in a week, but if you are taking test. increasing supps, don't use tetracyclene because it actualy has an anti-anabolic effect, because it stops the bacteri from assymilating the protien in your body for them to reproduce, this won't necesarily effect your muscle growth but it may contradict the test. increasing supplements.

I think that bart cardwill needs to stop using Roids if he's worried about the acne.

By redback ( - 203.30.194.240) on Friday, December 08, 2000 - 05:32 am: Edit

Yeah Anon,
Only gear users get acne huh? Dickhead.
Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) works, but you have to take quite a lot. Between 5 and 10 grams/day will get results for most people

Just suck on permanent markers untill your acne goes away.

Does anybody know how to get rid of red spots on the face and chest area?(red spots meaning the aftermath of acne)

By Anonymous ( - 63.39.40.243) on Thursday, March 08, 2001 - 11:22 pm: Edit

I've had acne since I was 14 or so(I'm 21 now). At first it would only show up in the winter, but since high school I've had it all year but it still is worse in the winter. How the hell do I get rid of this nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!

By clearskin ( - 63.20.199.59) on Friday, March 16, 2001 - 03:16 am: Edit

the best way to get rid of it is to get a tan. Ever notice in the summer how it goes away and comes back in the winter??? The best tan is from the sun in the summer that really clears it up good all over your body, but during the winter join a tanning salon or something. Also, what I noticed is that when i lift really hardcore for a few months(usually between september- april) I get some acne on my back ,not much though, but i dont worry about it. you will be taking your shirt off mostly in the summer inpublic and you can get the tan then which will clear it up. I dont worry about the back acne because it goes away the first time i get my sun in may and stays gone all summer so i guess back acne is just a side affect of bodybuilding...for guys who get it on their face i would suggest just not putting any creams or soaps or other bullshit on your face, just wash it with plain water before bed and it'll go away...If you dont believe me just look at all your freinds who dont have acne-you dont see them giving any attention to their faces and their faces look fine. Also one last point--I think guys who have acne on their face get it because they worry too much about it-don't sweat it, it'll go away if your young its just a normal part of growing up..

tanning will not get rid of acne. Everyone thinks that it is caused from chocolate and such foods. WRONG!!! acne is caused by an imbalance of hormones (not just from roids) and an over productive oil gland. Wash your face 20 times a day it won't help, because the problem comes from with in your body. It doesn't come from the surface. There is no fast or miracle cure, but if it is bad you will have to see a doctor. Everyone is different what works for one may not work for the other.

Come on!!! This guy has a real concern and most of you are just posting bullshit!!!!

I had acne back in high-school, and I thought that it would clear up when I hit my twenties... but alas, I was wrong.

By the time I was 23, I had resigned to the assumption that I would be plagued with acne for the rest of my adult life. This was roughly about the time I joined the army.

During basic training, very few new recruits had access to any junk food... and I mean NONE!!!! We had nothing but intense excercise, 3 square meals a day (using the good ole' food pyramid), and LOTS and LOTS of water. We took our showers at night, but we just used soap... we had no access to any special acne-fighting body wash. We didn't go anywhere with our shirts off, so none of us had tans.

No gatoraid, no soda, no candy, no suppliments, no beer, no cake, no chocolate, no pastries, no chewing gum. We never excluded stuff like milk, or cheese, or carbs, or sugar. We never calculated our protein/carb/fat ratios, or rated fruits and grains on a glycemic scale. We just stuck to the basics. As for suppliments, we didn't even take so much as a multivitamin.

With the good eating and all of the excercise, I got ripped!!!! I bulked up in all the right places, and my six-pack was rockin'. But, in addition to that, something happened that I didn't expect: My acne totally went away!!!! I could barely believe it. Other people in my platoon went through the same metamorphosis: shedding pounds of fat, packing on lean muscle, and getting some good, clear skin.

I was thinking that maybe for me, it was just my body's time to change... perhaps my hormones finally balanced out. Then something happened that clued me in to the truth: I graduated from basic training.

After graduation, I left the strictly controlled environment, and went back into a somewhat altered version of the real world. Although the government still owned my ass, I was once again exposed to the temptations of cake, candy bars, soda, donuts, french fries, and whatever other shit most americans cram into their bodies on a daily basis.

Well, surprise, surprise... my acne returned with a vengeance. I am not a doctor, or dermatologist, but I challenge ANYONE who says that acne is not affected by the food we eat!!!! You probably know that old saying, "You are what you eat." It is true. Don't ever forget it. What else could you be? Your body needs food to live, as that is all that your body can live on. Feed your body shit and your body will turn to shit.

For acne I suggest you make slow, steady changes to your diet... cause a drastic change would drive you completely mad. First, try to drink a glass of water with every meal. So, if you are eating right (6 small meals a day), that should equal 6 glasses of water a day. Second, try to sneak an apple, orange, or other fruit into your meals. Third, start eating some veggies if you don't already (many studies show that veggies are damn-near good for everything). Try to cut back on the soda.. big time. I know that I used to drink (at least) four 20 oz Mountain Dews a day... NOT GOOD!!! If you are totally addicted to the sugar/caffeine, then just try to cut back a little each day until you can just totally go without.

The best thing that I could advise to help you change your diet is to keep a food log... so you know exactly what goes into your body. Try to be totally honest with yourself... if you cheat, you will only be cheating yourself. If you have a candy bar on your 15 minute break, write it down... If you have a glass of water, and some veggies, write that down too.. After a week or two, go back and count how many soda's you had... how many chocolate bars you had, etc... remember to count the good stuff, too. This will help you in clearing up acne, AND maintaining good, overall health.

Good Luck to you.
