Hey...I need help with working my shoulders and getting mass on my traps and my upper back. I have kinda a Long neck so i want to build the muscles around my shoulders so my neck looks shorter. I'm 17 and I work out occasionaly. I don't go to a gym but I have dumbbells I use at home.
I don't know what you can suggest but you help would be appreciated...thanks

In order to work out your shoulders, you have to hang upside down and jack off. That's the best method. Try it and tell how effective it is for you.

Hold the dumbells that you have, one in each hand. Then proceed to shrug your sholders (like one would do with body language when telling someone they do not know something). Do this until you feel your neck muscles burn. Rest for about 30 seconds to a minute and go again. Keep doing this a couple of times. After a day or so and your neck muscles are not sore repeat the sholder shrugs. This is really simple but will pack on the muscles.
God bless

Also, shoulder presses are good for the part of the shoulder not around the neck (sorry I have no idea what the muscles are called). This is where you hold dumbells or a bar and press them to the point where you arms are straight, shoulder width (or so), and above your head. Holding your arms out to either side with the barbells near the shoulders and palms facing away from the chest/shoulders. Do this for a few sets of about 10 reps or so.

If that did not make enough sense the idea is that you press the barbells from about the shoulders all the way up until your arms are straight.
Sorry for the gibberish :-)
God bless.

Does anyone know how Arnold did his shoulder routine?

he used the arnold press, which is a different way of doing dumbell shoulder presses. he did exercises to work all areas of his delts, just as any serious bodybuilder does.

What if ones shoulders r naturally small. Does that person have the chance to increase his shoulder mass so much so as to give atleast the illusion of being broad?

yeah naturally, just focus on the weak points and hope that you have a small waist, which gives the illusion of wider shoulders. I'm not saying you'll ever be Kevin Levrone, but you can increase them enough for people to notice.
