It stokes my anger to hear chumps label themselves as "bodybuilders," simply because they bench press. How do you define bodybuilding?

I define bodybuilding as working out the entire body. I guess these other so-called bodybuilders didn't answer this question, because they're too ignorant and uncertain themselves. Well, that's my definition of bodybuilding.

Bodybuilding is more than just lifting weights it's about changing your lifestyle for the better
it's about being sick and tired of looking like shit and having enough strength to change it.
Bodybuilding is a positive in many ways and theres to much however all I can say is bodybuilding made me who I am today a sucessful person who looks forward to battle the weights. No matter how hard it is.

What you should do is hit the gym a few times a week, and then it, live your life. Get your education, and find your purpose. Lifting is just a thing we do for our physical. The most important, but it cannot take the place of the mental, and the spiritual.

PERSONALY, I SEE BODYBUILDING AS AN ART FORM. AND I AM THE ARTIST. I LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND FIND WHAT AREA NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. MAYBE THE MUSCLE GROUP NEEDS TO BE BIGGER OR MORE DEFINED. MAYBE IT NEEDS TO BE ROUNDER OR WIDER. SO I GO TO THE GYM AND BEGIN TO SCULPT. I AM IN CONTROL OF HOW I LOOK AND HOW I FEEL AND NO ONE ELSE. THAT IS WHAT MAKES BODYBUILDING SO INTERESTING. YOUR ALWAYS CHANGING, CALLENGING YOURSELF, AND SEEKING IMPROVEMENT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO RELY ON TEAM MATES OR COACHES, IT'S YOU AND YOU ALONE. YOU HAVE TO DECIDE HOW IMPORTANT IT IS. DO YOU JUST WANT TO BE ANOTHER GYM GOER? DO YOU JUST WANT TO BE AVERAGE? OR DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE GREATNESS? GREATNESS IS BEYOND THE PAIN, BEYOND SACRIFICE AND WILL POWER. TO BE A TRUE BODYBUILDER IT MUST BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT EVERY AVENUE. THE VARIOUS WAYS TO DEVELOPE YOUR BODY, NUTRITION, REST. THERE'S SO MANY THINGS TO PAY ATTENTION TO. IT'S NOT JUST GOING TO THE GYM. YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE SHOULD REVOLVE AROUND IT. YOU MUST LIVE IT, BREATH IT. SET GOALS AND STANDARDS FOR YOUSELF AND EXCEPT NOTHING LESS. UNTIL THEN YOU SHOULDN'T BE LABELING YOURSELF A "BODYBUILDER."

TO "TIME" (ABOVE^).....
"Body building" in its purest form is never a separate act from anything mental or spiritual.
You may achieve more from the physical when, in spirit, the body(physical) and the mind(mental) work together as one. Separation is a trick of the EGO.
