I have been noticing more and more stretch marks are appearing on me. I stretch for at least 10 minutes before working out, and after. I am 16 years old and am not taking any supplements besides protien shakes. I have stopped taking them, changed my routine by working out fewer times a week, everything! Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of them and stop new ones from forming? Thank you.

stretch marks do not come from stretching. They are caused by gaining weight faster than your skin can grow to accomidate the extra pounds. I dont know of any way you can get rid of them (besides plastic surgery), maybe some one else has more information on that topic.
Not to be rude, but you are the first guy that I've ever heard of that is complaining about stretch marks. Most guys look at stretch marks as being the proof that they have made some major muscular gains.
To prevent them from happening in the future, maybe you could watch your diet closely and insure that youre adding mostly muscular weight as apposed fat which will also stretch the skin. You may also want to check out a good quality skin lotion, I've never did that personally, but have heard of others trying it.

Thank you. But i didnt say that i got them from stretching, and I am on a very good diet. Second, a few stretch marks would one thing, but I dont want a lot of them all over my body.

Well, when i was a teenager, around 16 or so, i started getting stretch marks on the sides of my knees, and also around the bicep area, cause my body was growing very rapidly at that time. Almost everyone i know has stretch marks on their biceps(at the top), it's so common that i don't think anyone cares, as for me, i look at it as an acheivement to growing fast and getting big arms. Plastic surgery, laser surgery that is, is the only solution, other than that, eat well, and just don't focus on it so much, i don't think anyone cares, so why should you? I still have visible ones on my biceps, so does my friend and he as 16 inch arms, it makes you look like a true bodybuilder.

You all missed the mark!
stretch marks are whats left after
you lose the fat or god forbid the
muscle fast.

anon, what are you on?
stretch marks are the marks that appear when your skin is stretched beyond its elastic limit. normally happening when alot of size is added quickly.
if you loose muscle/fat really quickly, you will be left with saggy skin, thats it.
jesus, were are people getting their info from these days?

And vitamin-E rich oil wil help, too. Look for something containing collagen and vitamin E to help in prevention.

USING A PUMICE STONE WITH A SHAVING LIKE MOVEMENT OVER THEM HAS WORKED FOR ME. SOME OF THEM CAN'T BE SEEN NOW. STILL WORKING ON THE DEEPEST ONES.
IS THE SAME THING THAT "MICRODERMABRASSION" DOES. THAT IS WHAT DERMATOLOGISTS ARE DOING NOW A DAYS TO ELIMINATE THEM.
