I am looking for a motivational workout partner. I used to work out on a regular basis until I lost my job several years ago, went into a deep depression (out of it now), but gained a lot of weight by eating all the wrong foods. Now starting to trim down. Gym membership expired, but we have a small circuit gym in the apt. bldg. But I hate those. I live in Los Feliz area and would most likely join Bodybuilders Gym in Silverlake since it is gay gym. But open to other gyms that are gay friendly/orientated.

I am in 40's, 5'6", WM. Wide shoulders, nice glutes. My only problem is mid-age gut!

Being 6'4" I've got to be pushed with the heavier weight (need fast twitch muscles)and really mean it. I've been doing pretty good so far nearing 6% body fat, 201# (yeah, the weight has to get up there by at least 25lbs more.) I'm hoping to enter the Gay Games 2002 competition. So just be serious about it. I am.

BTW, if you are interested in starting to workout I'd be willing to help you. But this takes dedication and determination.
